Thank you very much for your videos. Very informative as always. Would you kindly explain/expand on the theory and practice of "xiong yao zhe die" (folding of the chest and waist) and how it relates/benefits the practice of Chen taijiquan. Again thank you for all the information you share.

It was said that , the factual translation of the movement is , " white crane brings cooling with it wings " derived from the chinese verb " liang " : cooling [ fantastic performance!]

Many different versions of translation. I only use the popular one to explain the movement but not the name it self. I may create a series videos in the future to explain the history and meaning of each name... let' see. Thanks,
