In addition to your videos on KZfaq, I watched your website. I am amazed. You did an incredible work. It is a real pleasure to learn with your lessons. Your students are very lucky to have a teacher like you. I have also read their appreciations on the internet. Probably I will never be able to learn well this difficult language, but at least I will have spent some time with your pleasant lessons and surely I will learn something. Я хочу поразить своих русских друзей. It is clear that you do your job with love and passion. Greetings from Milan (Italy).

Good video! My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

Everything takes time and effort! It takes 100 hours to learn a language up to level A2. It is up to the student to spend those 100 hours. If you study 10 hours a day, you can reach level A2 in 10 days. I had fun learning Croatian and in 2 weeks I reached the level required for a tourist. It is possible to learn a language quickly, but not everyone's psyche can handle learning a language for 6-10 hours a day! Thank you very much for recommending the book Polyglot Notes.

I am totally blown away by your videos. The first video I watched this morning was "Days of the Week." And I am looking forward to watching so many more, or all, of your videos! I especially like the way you speak predominantly Russian so that I begin thinking in Russian. I also like the way you mention not only the day of the week (with a visual) but you mention the order of the day in the week and any special aspects of the day of the week, for each week. I also like the pronunciation!!! And, the questions at the end. I feel that I have learned so much just from watching the first video in your list. I will not be watching any of those other Russian language videos from now on. Thank you for posting! Do you also offer lessons on Skype? I'd be interested. Going to check out your website now. I almost forgot. I also liked the background music in the video I watched this morning.

Renat Rahimov , молодец, все правильно, только «семь дней в неделю» - это каждый день, а русский язык у вас только два дня. Удачи!

Thank you for this good lesson. I have read somewhere that the russian word for Monday "ponedyelnik" derives from "after Sunday", because in the past the Russian word "nedyele" meant Sunday. Is it true?

Just a question: Is there a rule why we use "ВО" in "вторник" but not in "воскресенье"?

Yes. You will find the explanation in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jMuen5R9kq63ZZs.html

"В какой день?" But: "В каком месяце?" With the days of the week you use the accusative, but with months you use the prepositional, right?
@AmazingRussian6 жыл бұрын
Mark Kram , that’s correct.
