Or as Duolingo loves to stress “я не знаю эту змею» «она хочет змею» 😂 I guess snakes are popular pets in Russia? I especially like the emphasis on *this* snake, implying I know other snakes. 😂😂😂

Well the little green bird or is it an owl is in a world of his own. I never understood the snake bit or talking horse. The only talking horse I know is Mr. Ed. I got four years and then some with the little Green Bird.

@@LaurenVoCoBut as ridiculous these sentences are, they make you understand and remember sentence structure, while also learning vocabulary. Language is learned by repetition and Duolingo is strongly focused on that. It's a good app.

Hi! I started watching your videos three days ago. I went through your first five lessons on youtube. I got my notebook and will go through them again. Associating words and letters with images or stories or things has been really fun. I have just started my journey to learning Russian and I am loving the challenge that it is. I live in a small town in the midwest US and I hope to be fluent enough in Russian by this time next year.

вот что мне в американцах нравится, так это то что у них куча свободного времени и есть какая то цель и мотивация.. у нас у многих есть цель, но нет мотивации.. я хотел изучить чешский, начал учить, бац - санкции, ну и зачем он мне нужен, если нас здесь запечатали?

You should focus on learning how the Russian language is constructed more, rather than learning too many words at first. You will learn the Russian language and become fluent, alot faster this way.

англичане, признавайтесь.. сложно учить? у вас 12 времен, у нас всего 3 (спорно, конечно, но, вроде бы, 3, хотя там есть свои нюансы).. мне никогда не было понятно, к сожалению, где - какие времена применять в английском, хотя это скорее приходит не с пониманием, а просто практикой языка, когда ты на автомате применяешь не время, а предложение, как темплэйты, заранее приготовленные для каждого случая, думаю, наш мозг точно так же учится с детства, ведь мы не знаем значения слов, но повторяем за родителями, в конечном итоге понимаем, что мы сказали что-то хорошее и правильное по их реакции.. всем удачно выучить русский язык, хотя я не знаю зачем он вам, только в качестве развлечения разве что.. Дарья - молодец, слушайтесь её!
