I think this is a great method you show, and I will take this on board. But you are holding the pad at your shoulder level. I guess this drill then is helpful to those who like to blue with smaller guys? I think far more reality is hold it at above head level, as in MY experience it has always been bigger guys who have picked on me (I'm 5'4"). So I think it's a far better idea to hold pad higher up as it will instill into muscle memory to strike someone taller. How you train is what pops out of you when the shit hits the fan.
