Honestly, Once RWBY is purchased by someone who wishes to finish this show's legacy, I can see them fully finishing this scene as a special tribute.

An epilogue that broke me emotionally. I have no words for how beautiful it is. This shows that there are people behind it who love RWBY and that it deserves a chance to keep the show going. Never forget: "Remember her message".

Yeah, is so beautiful❤❤❤, i laughed, cryed, in short, this series gave me so many emotions that I don't know if I can describe since the series is going through a pretty difficult time. Of all the Rooster Teeth projects and series we've seen over the course of 21 years, RWBY is undoubtedly the best masterpiece that has ever been created.

This was perfect in every way. I need to see this get fully animated as Vol 10 Ep 1 and hopefully they can expand on it too bec i need to see this in its full potential. I am so hyped for Vol 10 now. We just have to wait for now.

Dear RWBY: Thank you for being such amazing part of my life. You were far from perfect story, you had messy plot lines, loss potential, crazy ships, questionable writing and lame puns. But you know, we created so many wonderful memories regardless of the situation. So yeah, goodbye RWBY. Or see you later.

"messy plot lines"? I guess maybe v5 could count but otherwise most fit just fine. "loss potential"? If you mean Sienna, then yes. If you mean incel shitlord Adam, authoritarian fascist Ironwood, or any number of other "wasted potential" b.s. that isn't actually wasted; then nah. "crazy ships"? The only out there ship in terms of canon was Titanic (Weiss/Neptune); out of canon there's definitely plenty of those. "questionable writing"? Actually no its solid to anyone without b.s. biases and who actually pay attention to the story, characters, and show; rather than their own AU-vision of the show. "lame puns"? Mixed bag honestly cause puns are fun, but also eye-roll inducing.

@@CrimsonXE Volumes 7 and 8 could’ve been handled better, though, especially with what they did with Penny. 😔 I think the CRWBY let all of the drama of a wartorn world story go to their heads.

@@VSaber365 Um no, because everything in them fits, including Penny. And I'm someone that raged at first airing of the v8 finale w/ Penny's assisted death; then after time and reflection w/o emotion seeing it as it as the natural end for that storyline. And if you're one to try to pull the "but she just came back again", villains in a story don't give a shit if a character came back 5 mins ago or 5 week ago; if they're aiming to kill them they're going to go for it. The idea that a character is immune to attack cause of just coming back is ignorant af of reality. Going by the "wartorn" and highlight on v7-8" I'll go ahead and assume at least some IW in the mix. They didn't let anything go to their heads and instead progressed characters the way they would progress, including a military-focused control freak w/ a hero complex steadily falling more and more till he finally dove into military fascist authoritarian w/ a hero complex that saw value in giving up his humanity after admiring Salem's having given up hers. His fall was long-standing and steadily built up over 9 volumes based on traits of his that were always bad. Penny was always a character that'd sacrifice everything for others and that's exactly what she did in the end of v8 and for the first time it was HER choice of path. You don't have to like it, but all of it fits and makes sense.

help these gags were very needed after watching that last night 😭😭 Genuinely though, I have so many thoughts about this epilogue. Still genuinely one of my favourite scenes in the show period, it was really amazing seeing what's happening through everyone's perspectives and learning just how much everyone's dynamics, states of mind and actions have changed- and all in an effort to follow in the footsteps of those they've lost, pick up the pieces and run things as best as they can. It's an incredible message about perseverance and so wonderfully executed and I'm so happy we got to see it in some form after all. Hoping the IP can be picked up by someone else and that we can see this series get the conclusion it deserves in Vacuo.

Oobleck could easily have Micah Risinger (just listen to his Dr. Ahem in Stinky Dragon); Andrew Rosas could've likely done one hell of a Tyrian; and Port already was replaced. I'd also toss in maybe a Charlotte to step in for May

It is actual depression after seeing the bonus episode 11 animatic. Even though RT said they're still working on volume 10 and are trying to get another studio who will continue the series. Knowing it can all just be scrapped and cancelled any day makes me so upset.

I woke up, saw this and 20 seconds in I was fully awake and opened Rooster Teeth in a flash. What caught my eyes first was the time stamp, and I was ready to cry Over 15 mins, there were shouting, tearing, and barely a laugh. I was broken emotionally, and this is just an Animated version, I am now fully scared of their big gun

I really hope that there will be a 10th season of this series. It saddens me to hear that RoosterTeeth is closing its doors after 21 years. I just watched this series in 2020, thanks to the reaction from long-time RWBY fan Arnold, AKA MurderOfBirds. I just finished watching season 9 and the Justice League Crossover part 2 last year. I want to stay with this series for the long run and become a new fan. I will say this: This show came out at the same time as my favorite show, Steven Universe, on Cartoon Network, and sadly, that show caught my eye before this one. So I don't want to be a fan who watches this show and hears that I will never be finished since the company will go out of business. I want to be here and see the story end. With that, I hope that season 10 will be released to the public so we can continue this story. And for this season 10, there will be a lot of emotional moments for that season. Me, there are three of them, in my opinion, the first one is the most emotional: Jaune telling Ruby the truth about Penny's Death. Because here is the thing: we all know that Jaune and Ruby hit their breaking points in season nine, right? But the thing is, Jaune didn't tell Ruby the truth since they were dealing with the Ever-After and trying to find a way back to Remnant. So, with them back home, I hoped Jaune would tell Ruby right away once they reached Vacro. I fear that if Jaune doesn't speak or keep it a secret from her, I will have a terrible feeling that Cinder will expose Jaune to everybody. That is the first sad; the second one for me is Will Weiss learning about her father's death. Now, for me, this may have some mixed reactions. On the one hand, YES, Weiss will feel sad since her father is dead, but on the other, this can be a good thing since Jacques is dead now; she can repair her family and make the Schnees a better figure than they were before. And for me, the last sad moment should have happened during the end of season 9, but I think we are going to see it if season 10 is confirmed; that would be a BIG FAMILY HUG WITH ALL OF THE CHARACTERS WE HAVE SO FAR IN THE STORY. For me, this moment is not only going to be emotional but also wholesome and filled with joy and hope. Here is the thing with Team RWBY and Jaune falling in the Ever After. After the events of season eight, everybody on Remnant has to believe that RWBY and Jaune are "DEAD" and now have to continue the mission without them. You know this would lead to tensions with Professor Ozpin and the remaining heroes I even can see that Emerald even want back to relapsing, like criticizing the heroes. So, with that, I can see Ozpin being drenched in guilt and sadness after he thought his " honest soul" was gone forever. So, next season is the best time for me to start season 10.

Except that talks are still ongoing and in the snippet before this Eddy is mentioning how some of the stuff shown will be used in a potential v10. So while it could be a farewell, it could also just be a nice bonus vid.

Honestly, even if it meant a 'downgrade' from the more recent seasons animation, if another studio didn't buy it it'd be nice if they just found a way to fully animate this/season 10 themselves even if it's a side project that means long waits between episodes and all. Then again, I'm also the guy who had no issues waiting on Episode 60 of DBZ:A.
