Pull the prop off and relube the spline every season yeah that's not going to happen😂

Yeah, exactly. But it's also annoying to see so many people complain about the same thing when they never did the preventative maintenance. I think the I/O guys have it worse. I can't tell you how many times I saw somebody crying about their "bellows" and then admit they never checked it or changed it. It's a high wear item apparently and nobody wants to do it.

Good morning I have a question. Changing lower unit drive shaft due to different splines. How do I know if shimmed properly? I have re-used everything besides the drives shaft. When spinning the drive shaft it feels a bit crunchy and not smooth. And it seems like there is too much lash when I rote the drive shaft. The prop seems to spin a bit free before it catches up.

Do they mention that you need a special tool to re-install the drive shaft lol.
