Adam Lefebvre they were nu metal
@Syclone00444 жыл бұрын
Adam Lefebvre I agree they weren’t really nu metal, but really, all those terms are totally subjective, they only mean whatever people use them to mean, it’s not like there’s some “official” source of those terms which everyone agrees defines authoritatively exactly what each means. So call it metal, nu Metal, math metal, prog metal, whatever. I remember Mudvayne said in (probably more than 1 interview) they find this genre-defining thing very irritating altogether - they just want to play their stuff and not be placed into somebody else’s neat little box “defining” them.
@robertherrick67034 жыл бұрын
@@adamlefebvre1571 Despite all the great things I've heard about Martinie's playing, I never gave Mudvayne a chance because of the Nu-Metal tag. I've never been into Nu-Metal. I'm listening to their first album now and yeah it really sounds like Nu-Metal. Oddly enough, I kinda like it.
