Please know my title is a joke! Randy makes some great and informative content. I think everyone knows his stance on livescope and active target though! This tournament was held on a deep, clear body of water and the bass were suspending on bait in 20-40 foot of water. My issue with front facing sonar is the price - for the common man/women it is just not affordable unless you want to go take out a loan. Same thing for bass boats - HOLY CRAP!!!! It is truly becoming an "elitist sport".

Live Scope should be outlawed but tournament organizations are all for little rich boys bringing them money so it's a money party instead of a fan funded sport. It's really not a good model and makes the sport boring to watch and the accolades of participants less impressive. It also guarantees that the best anglers never get a chance to fish unless they lick boots and grovel and play the game.

Have seen people who had a hard time catching fish with out Forward facing sonar Forward facing sonar . Now that they have it they catch a limit glad they are catching fish. But can't respect them as much but it does make a not so good fisherman catch more fish .

He is correct livescope shouldnt be allowed in tournaments...it takes all the skill and know how out of fishing

Bill, you did not cheat because you did not break the rules. How about this analogy? A group of avid bow hunters agree to a competition that centers around a weekend of hunting within a 50 mile radius, Of the 10 hunters, nine set out to public ground with recurve bows to hopefully harvest that big buck. The 10th hunter is as skilled as the others, but chooses to use his top of the line crossbow with scope and hunt at a high fence operation that includes game feeders and a nice warm enclosed box blind. In this COMPETITION, did the 10th hunter compete with an unfair advantage? He did not violate any rules. By the way, hunter #3 won the competition. Hunter #10 can't wait for the next compeition because the crossbow industry is coming out with an even faster model with a higher power scope.

Randy cried the whole time he fished the FLW. There was always a problem. It got to the point no one listened to him. Now he has cult followers. Randy's a narcissist and feeds off negative energy. It's always not fair or a rich man's fault. Randy tries to make the hobby and past time man hate the pros. The hobby angler just wants to have fun, enjoy their time. A professional angler wants to win at any cost. Two different worlds and thinking.

Randy only likes the technology he uses. He creates, uses and promotes technology that takes the guess work out of fishing. Yet knocks guys for using live scope. He’s a hypocrite on a massive scale.
