Fast forward to Japan, where the Jack Hammer sells for ¥1,200 and the ChatterBait Elite EVO sells for ¥2,000. $1 = ¥170

That bullet didn’t go into the water, it most likely ricochet up in the air. That’s incredibly dangerous

This is reason why fishermen are allowed to open carry. The first thing you should have done is called the authorities. The guy was obviously off his rocker.

That was obviously from a Co2 air rifle and not an actual rifle cartridge. This is the third different video I’ve seen where people that hate fisherman around their property, are shooting near them with Co2 air rifles. Stop airing to give ppl ideas or everyone will be doing it until someone is hurt. All they have to say, is accidental discharge and it’s a Co2 air rifle. Purposely, then they can be charged with aggravated assault, but it has to be proven and all they have to say, is “oops”, unless you can prove intent. Your video doesn’t really show much.

all these gun experts in the comments, you people do know that the bullet from a 5.56 NATO cartridge is 0.224 inch diameter, so it's roughly equivalent to 22 caliber. just because its a .22 cal doesn't mean its less than lethal lmfao

That’s aggravated assault. You should have quietly left like you did and called authorities. He may kill someone in the future who is not so lucky. It’s a matter of public safety.

But what if they both had handguns? What if one of the handguns had burst fire that shot rifle rounds or high cal that will blow a limb of just like his rifle rounds. What if the boaters had body armor or what if the dock guys gun jammed and he had to resort to his sidearm and it was one guy with a pistol vs the dock guy with his pistol but dock guy was actually blind in one eye the whole time?

Yeah, sorry dude but you're wrong on a couple of things. 1st, is that you tournament guys come to our lakes that we live on, and in a lot of case's, have zero respect for those of us who live here. Taking off full throttle 50 feet from another fishermen is completely disrespectful, and spooks the fish he's fishing for. The other thing I noticed is you fishing in areas that are roped off to protect floating inflated water toys in front of people's house's. I'm forced to wonder if you would post in your videos, if you snagged one and put a hole in it? I guarantee you that shit like that happens all the time. I've had pull so many lures from my pontoon boat's Interior and cover over the years left by fishermen who mainly trailer their boats in for the day to go fishing, and I've never once had someone leave a note identifying themselves and offering to pay for the damages. Again I'm forced to wonder how you would feel if someone came into your home and damaged your couch with sharp hooks and just walked away as if nothing happened? The only difference is that pontoon boat furniture costs more than double of the couches or chairs you have in your home. Bottom line is that you weekend warriors need to stop, think, and use a little common sense when you're throwing lures with sharp hooks near other people's boat's and property.

i would suggest taking it to the police and let them handle this cause what he did was wrong on all accounts and you are right with kids out there as well yeah he needs to be talked too by the police for sure awesome video great job on keeping your cool .

this guy did that as a warning to you not to fish near his place, that was dangerous, reckless and needs his weapons taken off him, you cant shoot a 22 over the water.

The smartest thing was to do just what you did, remove yourself from a situation where you had an obvious disadvantage. I'm glad you called the authorities, but you're right, should've called immediately after you removed yourself. I'm all about responsible firearms ownership, but that was in no way responsible, and seemed very intentional; what was the outcome with the police?

I agree with @Jaw ... alternating casts is what I would have done for my test & usually do when I'm doing similar tests.. Next time start with the Jack Hammer , as it may be 1st come 1st serve, kind of deal.. Great video though appreciate the effort & Knowledge.
