A wonderful player and great soul - I saw him do a masterclass back in the 90's at the Bass Centre in East London (in fact the day Bernard Edwards passed away) - and Doug blew me away with his range of pedals and variety of electronic sonic possibilities - a true innovator and really inspirational as a musician.
