This has saved me on a recent client shoot that I was slacking on the edit because it would've taking a week to finish. I used Evoto and got er done in 2 days. Thanks for this find. I wish they had a less expensive plan just to use the face editing.

Ok, I made a first quick test and yes, doesn't look so bad. ;) I´ll dive a little bit deeper the next days to test it. So far I think it's as you said: It doesn't replace individual retouch work, but can make a solid job if you have a bunch of images that needs good retouch but not absolute perfection.

That app was giving results that were way better and faster than I was expecting. I can already imagine how much time it would save me for light retouching. Thanks for this demo and also for taking the ‘first time user’ approach. Out of interest, did the background replacement options include a green screen or similar?

You can change the background to any color you like, and you can completely mask out the background as well. There are also options like sky replacement which I am going to test soon.

Looks pretty good. One thing I look for in ai, is how it handles permanent blemishes ( moles, etc ). I seldom use blemish removal in Luminar Neo because of this. I wish there was a way to protect something or recover it after “healed”. Have you noticed how this software handles this? Thanks.

It still gets rid of more than I would like when it comes to things like moles, haven’t figured out a way to save those using this type of software yet.

We can now manually restore the moles want to keep, and the function of freckle protection is under development

You could also take this version in Ps and use a mask to paint the moles back in with the original or the unedited moles layer on top. It would still save you time in the end if you are used to complete retouching in Ps.

Hows the Capture one Grading into Evoto AI for Retouching only Workflow ??

It works. C1 is a better app for grading, but Evoto is a better app for retouching.

I like to give my subjects all the shots from the shoot- this would speed them up hugely

Definitely. Spend a little time creating a preset and voila, batch it across all the rest of the images.

Nathan, I believe the image edits made with Evoto AI appear significantly more refined and realistic compared to those produced by Retouch4Me. What's your opinion on this?

Haven't tried Retouch4Me yet but I plan on testing it soon.

Retouch4Me Heal works way better. I just compared them both. Sure, Retouch4Me Tools are much more expensive on the first sight, but you can use them as an automated plugin for Photoshop (its doing masks, if you want).

I could see it being used as a starting point and then using your eye, taste and skill to finish and do the major work. But the pricing model isn't something I would care to invest in. Buying credits that get consumed every time you use it is worse than Adobe's subscription plans.

Is this some kind of test joke? Using studio (almost) flawless photos of (almost) flawless model to test retouching software? Why didn't you use an imperfect model photographed outside in the wind? Then see how the retouching handles about masking the background...

I don't know how you missed it but I can see enough differences in the Before/After to see what the software does. There's a free trial too, so maybe you can use a shot with an imperfect model photographed outside in the wind to see if it can handle the masking in the background.

The real world test would be for you to test out the software on the models/clients that you shoot and then you can decide if would work for you.
