I think a family cookbook would be great from all sides of both of your and Whitney’s families. Maybe you could feature the foods that your children love at their current age. I know that you have two really little ones that probably wouldn’t be able to participate. But that’s where you could have an addendum ( or two) to your clip ring cookbook. I actually prefer those so I can take out the recipe I want and not have the whole cook book out. It would be nice if they were laminated so spills could easily be cleaned up. Whitney is a lucky lady. A husband who can and loves to cook is a recipe for a happy marriage. There were so many days when I was raising my family when I would come home exhausted from work and had to cook dinner when all I wanted was just to sit down and rest … it would have been wonderful to have a husband who would have stepped up and said , “honey, let me do it for you tonight”.

How about a cookbook, being in charge with your favorite recipes plus contributions from each of your siblings. One of you could help the younger ones. Pictures too for sure. Use a theme. Like Summer Cooking. Cookout Favorites. Holiday Gatherings. Company Classics. There you go. A series. We would buy them for sure because we love your family.

I'd love to have you do more recipes from the family, either family favorites from when you were growing up and/or recipes from your parents, grandparents, etc.

Loving this channel! I cook throughout the week, and then my husband typically cooks on the weekends. I must admit, he's a MUCH better cook than I am. He's the same as you, he loves to tweak recipes, invent new ones, and experiment in the kitchen. He has come up with some incredible dishes!

Maybe you could start a food truck to see how many people you would feel comfortable cooking for! Like, maybe start it at a fair or a local event. Call it a ‘market analysis’ to determine if you could do it. Or would want to do it. You could have chicken and steak, maybe burgers too, with coleslaw and other cold salads, and maybe cookies or cake pops for a sweet. Something like that would be a good way to start cooking for more people, and help you determine if you would want to do larger venues. Just an idea!

I tried your sweet coleslaw recipe last week and absolutely loved it. I love a creamy coleslaw and the sauce for this did the trick. Finally, a coleslaw sauce I will be making again and again. I can't afford a Blackstone right now and I am wondering if you can make those recipes on the stovetop or an electric griddle?

I hated lima beans when I was little so one night at dinner I hid the lima beans in my potato skins ( we always scooped the potato out of the skins and then put butter in the skins and ate them ). My dad loved eating the potato skins so he asked me for mine when we were clearing the table and he found my hidden lima beans. I thought for sure I was in big trouble but he told me that since I was so creative about hiding them that I only had to eat 3 of them. It may as well have been 300 because it took me forever to get just those 3 down my throat!!!
