Is there any other new alternative other than tiles? As tile gaps can be a big head ache in future, and I've experience of finding centipedes frequently while washing toilets... And i believe tile gaps can be a habitat for these creatures especially when bathroom is kinda damp moist surface

If I have dry area and shower area separately but using a glossy tiles in the floor then will it be slippery? Dry area is of 4ft by 5ft and shower area is of 3.5 ft by 4 ft.
