Yeah you wish it was that easy! Most rain shower heads are so heavy it’s breaks the diverter over a few weeks.

I agree that some showerheads can be too heavy for the diverter and cause problems over time. That’s why I recommend choosing a rain shower head that is lightweight and durable, like the one I used in this tutorial. What if you can't remove the little bar that connects to the wall? Mine will not budge and I've watched plenty of KZfaq videos to try to remove it.

If you're referring to the shower arm you can get leverage with a large screw driver or water pump pliers but be careful, a lot of people end up breaking then in the wall and then you're in for a world of hurt or calling a plumber.
