The infamous Dick Johnson crash in the Hardies Heroes.
According to his biography, the car had a bad under-steer issue all weekend and he was in a very foul mood and "drove angry"
He pushes too hard on the exit of Forest Elbow and clips the tyres at the end of the wall. They were filled with cement.

He made a deal with Andrew Harris to take over his Falcon but retired on lap 61 and Harris and his co driver drove a Commodore and finished 10th

I remember watching the coverage live in Perth. On the grid the paintwork on Dick's car was still damp.
