A truly underrated film !!! As a 6th grader who rented it ,i was blown away !!! A different kind of horror film for sure . Way ahead of its time !!!

The biggest problem with it is, its Romeo and Juliet, the awful 90s tude it was dripping and, for a movie called Return of the Living Dead 3 there are 6 zombies in the entire zombie movie. Then there is weird stuff like changing the barrel, changing the name 2-4-5 Trioxin, the 6 zombies all look like something that came from Spirit Halloween or Radio Shack.

I hope Brian Yuzna is involved. He did direct the film after all. Fell in love with Mindy Clark with this film. Also, great performance from Basil Wallace. It was nice to see him play a character that wasn't larger than life like "Screwface" in Marked for Death. That film initially typecast him.

Mindy Clark and Linnea Quigley in these films did more to develop my taste in women than anything else.

I enjoy the first one because that’s the only one that I’ve actually seen. Would actually like to watch the other two and see how they are. Don’t own the 3rd physically and might hold off till we see what happens with the new cut. 😊

The first one is still the best, but the other two are worth the watch. I love all, definitely check the other two out when you can. Hopefully will have more information on whether a new physical release is coming for part 3 🤘

Brian Yunza excelled at great FX, and he did awesome in this on such a low budget.

@@FanZceneVidsif you haven’t seen it, you gotta see “Society” (1989), which was also directed by Yuzna. The movie has wild special effects and is batshit crazy is the best ways.

The first one has always been my favorite. I had first seen it in 89 which was when I had first discovered my love of crystal clear pepsi and also when I had concindentally also had seen Ghostbusters.

It’s cool that they found it, but I would rather them honestly just release the scenes online for free. In most cases when something is cut from the first cut, it’s because it’s a pointless scene and not really relevant.

I don't think there is any universe where there is a 4k of the movie, your not really going to get that from a VHS tape from 1992 but a respectable blu-ray seems possible maybe

The movie took a turn away from the comedic element and was quite serious, which I did like a lot.

You mean it became a generic zombie flick. There was comedy all over the first one, its about finding balance. I like Part 2 for what it is, but it went too far into comedy.

@@FanZceneVids Agreed. With a tape copy, though I don't see a good chance of a full and proper 4K version. Maybe they can do like Vinegar Syndrome does and just weave the material into a 4K release with a note at the beginning explaining the issue like they've done with numerous releases.
