@@MoonBreath I agree. This game could do so well with a 60fps update. Not sure if they could keep that framerate at 4K but they could definitely do 1440p at 60fps with an option to do 4K at 30fps.

That happens a lot. A lot of games come out with bad PC ports, but then technology evolves, and the PC starts to outperform the consoles, eventually becoming the best way to play. Unless the game gets a patch/remaster on consoles like the Witcher 3 for example, playing on PC will inevitably beat playing on a console. If you are a patient guy like me that doesnt care about playing games at launch, PC will most times be the better option, since you don't have to wait for the developers to remaster/update an old game.

Wish all devs poured their hearts with details like this game. Arkham knight could have been released every year since 2015 and you would have thought it just released for the first time. One of my all time favorite games.

2015 and 2016 were the years where the graphics quality really increased and since then not many things have been improved, other than that the Rocksteady artists did a really good job, even Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Origins look good in terms of art even if they have dated graphics , but Arkham Knight look so good it could be released today.

@@Extreme96PLTrue, the only gripe I have with Arkham Knight’s visuals is that it doesn’t have proper anti aliasing there’s a lot of shimmering & jagged edges, at least on 1080p. But when pumped up to 4k, Arkham Knight beats most games today graphics wise & still holds up even in 2024

@@johnxiong6983 yes I agree but in 1080p you can fix this with DLDSR. I use 2.25x with 100% smoothness(which disable sharpen filter because its too sharp with it imo) on 1080p monitor and it looks much better.

@@johnxiong6983 I played in this game on 2K DLDSR with 36% smoothness (1080p with 1.78 DSR in Nvidia control panel) and use FXAA mod. It looks much better, so I hardly saw any aliasing

to be fair the pc port was shit when it came out. one of the worst pc releases of all time the base ps4 and xbox one had pretty weak gpus be pc standards when they came out (cpus too) optimiztion certinaly helps, but we talking like HD 7790 or gtx 750/750ti performance

@DankWasTaken Weird because on my ps5 the resolution is ass. It looks like somebody sprinkled salt on every object. Maybe it's because it's 900p being displayed on a 4k screen. But even when playing on a 1080p screen it still looks terrible. Weird

i recently played batman arkham city on an ps3 emulator just to try it and i was amazed, the concept of gotham city.. not only that, i can see the amount of detail THIS game has.. like the batmobile destroying a brick column just by touching it.. thats something almost no game developer does, i mean, that attention to detail. I wish the next generation has the same level of details and changes the cape physics, but, everything else is just incredible.

I picked it back up after grabbing a 4070 and at 4k max settings and Nvidia physics on, press pause at any moment and look on photo mode, this game looks like art

I really hope this Series will get another Sequel. Even if the Story has declared Batman as dead. I'd love some kind of Plot Twist, where Batmans unmasking was just another Side Effect of Scaregrows Gas and it actually never happened. Just like what happened to Wayne Manor. So that Scarecrow and all the other Villains got locked up and Batman finds himself on the Rooftop inside the Bat Wing and then waking up out of the Trance of the Gas and then realising everything he'd done was real. Accept his unmasking.

@@Killer23TrZ its more than 20%. You use Batmobile to fight tanks in main quests, some side quests related to militia, Riddler's trophies and races etc. Batmobile is more or less half of game and you use it way too often.

Mine doesn't look good on my ps5. The game only runs at 900p and displaying 900p on a 4k screen looks terrible. Mine looks graining and like somebody poured salt on every object in the game

@@LucaBattiato-lm4rnwrong. It's 1080p on ps4, ps4 professional, and ps5. It's 900p on the Xbox consoles but 60 fps on series x Plus the issue isn't the resolution. It's the lack of temporal anti aliasing. Even at native 4k, it still has shimmering everywhere because it's using old AA like fxaa and msaa which cannot deal with shimmering

@@munnumkhalid no filters, it's just youtube hides details because the video is so compressed The games issue is that it uses old AA so even native 4k cannot fix its issues. Only temporal AA or dlss could fix this and then, even 1080p could look better than the game currently does at native 4k

@@HugoStiglitz88 well thats a good idea. I didn't tried dlss. The game looks like it has resolution and fov problem every thing looks so big on the face. Like playing at 720p. When it release it looked good but now when you play it. It's looks like outdated game. Same was with the witcher 3 I thought it was good with mods now that I have played the upgraded version I cant even play the prior version anymore it looks outdated in every sense.

The game looks awesome, but I think the combat looks too scripted! Its press 1 button and the animation plays.... I will pass on this one, I saw its price was $1.99 on steam right now that is why I came here to watch some footage. It looks awesome, but the combat system is not for me. maybe some people like it, but not me. Anyway if you want it right now 7/2/24 its on sale for 1.99 on steam.

Playstation version makes the PC version look like a cartoon. Playstation version has global illumination color grading. Which means every building takes on the bounce light color of every light in the game world. Playstation version looks photo realistic PC looks like a cartoon. Playstation version has better textures better particle effects better overall atmospherics better reflections better weather effects. Plus the different suits on the PlayStation version have better texture detail and higher polygon counts. Also when Batman beats on thugs they show blood coming from wounds Batman gave them, PC version doesn't have that. Also Batman's cape has different physics applied to it depending what situation Batman finds himself in or the different suit he has on. for instance if a helicopter is flying near Batman his cape will blow wildly. on the PC version the cape blows the same way no matter if wind is present or not complete 🗑️

The PlayStation version with adjustments to the brightness does look way superior to the PC version. The global illumination in the PlayStation version is quite insane. To me this is the best looking multiplat of all time. The PlayStation version that is, Something like Bloodborne looks better though

If we're judging games solely on boss battles, then Arkham Asylum had many shitty boss battles and the only good boss fight in the entire series is Mr Freeze, yet you don't call those games bad. This is what happens when you form your entire point of view based on other whiny people's opinions who are never happy with what they get. To call AK a bad game is plain stupid.

Arkham knight isnt bad just because of really bad boss fights, the story is just bad, boring and stupid, again the worst plot of the series. The mecanics and gameplay are however the best of all 4 games, which is obvious because it is the last one.
