Wow Insomniac really borrowed a lot of mechanics and combat ideas from Amazing Spider-Man series. Also a few things in TASM2 felt better like the side wall running animation and down the wall running .

@@adarcccc4124 There is something special about how the camera works that makes it super thrilling, I think it’s the way it pitches down and up with Spider-Man’s descent/ascent. You are more engaged with the swinging like there’s a lot more risk reward for getting momentum and because of the challenge there is a real sense of accomplishment for getting good at the swinging. You can literally practice for hours and still be learning the mechanics while in insomniacs Spider-Man you become a master in like 30 minutes.

You know what’s really gear grinding?? Most of these issues were completely fixed in the MOBILE version! Like the punching bag physics and the soda drinking animation for instance.

there is apparently an animation for running downwards on buildings in the first insomniac Spider-Man game but it seems to be cut from the game or unfinished or something. People found it somewhere in the game files. It's a shame they never actually added it especially since this proves they clearly worked on it at one point.

GTA IV has everything better in comparison to V :) Especially the NPC behavior when it comes to civilians and cops!
