They weren't great, but they were definitely better than the shit we got in Arkham Knight... Arkham Knight in a helicopter, Arkham Knight in an excavator, Arkham Knight passively looking into a predator room. Deathstroke in a tank, I could go on. Even if you hated the boss fight in SSKTJL, you have to admit they're better than the SINGLE GOOD BOSS FIGHT in the entirety of Arkham Knight.

@@Furthernever I can respect that, and maybe say that the pyg boss fight was pretty good. But Croc was hardly anything new. An enemy you can't hit surrounded by enemies you can hit, and Nightwing. Do the team takedown 5 times, you win. And I'm not gonna sit here and act like the Suicide Squad got these really in-depth, layered fights with the Justice League. However I will say, on average, they were more engaging because you could actually fight them and not the infinite number of henchmen they have on hand.

@@MaxwellMatthews I agree. Arkham Knight is one of my favorite games of all time (the only ones that compete with it on my list are DMC5 and Spider-Man PS4) but its boss fights are not cool. Seriously, most of them are just a longer, more complicated version of standard stealth or Batmobile combat. The only fights I like are Batman and Robin vs Big Al, Nightwing and Batman vs Killer Croc, Batman and Catwoman vs Riddler and Batgirl vs Joker because they are really Boss fights with real combat. Arkham Knight has the best combat in the franchise but they wasted the chance to show this in one-on-one fights with enormous potential like Batman vs Deathstroke and even against Arkham Knight, which should have been the most complex and difficult boss fight in the game. As if it were an improved version of the Mr. Freeze fight from Arkham City. The Arkham Knight can even be hit by one of Batman's techniques but this technique becomes ineffective later as Jason knows how Bruce fights and can think of countermeasures using his militia's arsenal. And the second half of the fight could be like Batman's fight against DeathStroke in Origins, for example.

@@HyperxTBT no tf it's not trust me when I'm saying this I have a PS5 and a 4K TV and believe it or not I actually bought the game when it came out and the graphics are okay but not as good as Arkham Knight )by the way I took back the game back because it was trash) and I noticed the difference because after I took it back I encourage myself to go and play Arkham Knight and finish the Riddler trophy Mission because I hate the Riddler trophy missions and I notice how better the graphics are

“Boss fights” - Suicide Squad That’s a surprise point. I can’t lie, the game had its moments of entertainment but it felt like it was a constant replay of the same strategy and attacks. Just shooting. Arkham Knight was more explorative and planned out in the fights in my opinion, even though they didn’t give a Deathstroke battle

While somewhat true, the boss fights in Arkham Knight were awful for theost part. There were maybe two decent boss fights in that entire game and one of them is the Riddler 😭 If we were talking about City or Origins, they'd take the cake easily. But Knight, idk just doesn't have any standout boss fights besides Riddler in a mech suit.

Icl the only thing that can save ssktjl is if they reveal that the Leaguers who were killed were just clones. It'll make sense, superman surviving kryptonite through the chest, flash's missing finger, batman's fall and why Green Lantern's ring didn't fly off when he died. It's either a massive plot twist or we've just witnessed one of the shittest writing in mankind.

Even though the league is still probably alive, this game is still one the shittiest products from rocksteady, the gameplay is mind numbing, the boss fights suck, the game poorly explained how deadshot is different, but honestly the thing that gets me the most is how we didn't get a worlds finest duo game, or other league members, we got the suicide squad, who dc seems to love for some forsaken reason.

SS may have better boss fights, but there's no way it's level design is better than AK. Like the open world in AK is so incredible at blending good level design with city architecture that make the world feel like a real place, while still accessible for the player to take advantage of the level design.

It was the perfect opportunity to show how horrifying superheroes are from a criminal's perspective, but Flash doesn't convey the incredible speed he does in other media, Superman doesn't seem like an unstoppable force of nature... Batman is the only one they got sort of right and only in the first encounter, as his actual bossfight is just... Bad. Also, the Squad members are incredibly obnoxious, especially Harley and Boomerang. They have no charm whatsoever, which doesn't help motivate the player in their crusade against the JL.
