There is no character interaction more fascinating for Batman than the ones he has with Bruce Wayne.

This humane side of Batman reminds me of the episode of Young Justice where the league is deciding on new members and Robin & Shazam are brought up. Wonder Woman gets on Bruce about him fighting crime at 9 so he could end up like Batman, but he responded "So that he wouldn't."

My head canon is that Batman has a yellow lantern ring he keeps under lock and key. It's assigned to him, so it just sits there waiting for him to put it on.

These tie ins are so cool, but I can't help but wonder where Sinestro is? With all this fear, the yellow lanterns would be supercharged. Hell, Parallax could probably re-manifest at this point. Hell, this would the perfect way to bring Necrom back in. The Black Lanterns would fit perfectly in this setting.

Just wana say when it comes to comics I'm mostly marvel fan but as I get older I always appreciate batman, he's the only thing still giving me hope for DC

I like that we get to see Bruce Wayne Batman interact with a version of his past self, accepting he can overcome his nightmares and by making sure that no one would ever experience tragedies like him. It reminds me of Detective Comics 500 (To Kill a Legend) where Earth-One/New Earth/Prime Earth Bruce and Dick Grayson traveled to pre-Crisis Earth-Five to prevent his counterpart from having his parents killed, resulting in that world’s Bruce Wayne becoming Batman because of curiosity, mystery, and adventure. For the Green Arrow back up, it is interesting that Roy’s nightmare involves losing precious memories with his daughter Lian. I assume that he and Lian would overcome this and spend as much time as can after all of this.

Batman really is one of the best written characters in fiction 🦇

I think that "inhuman" aspect of Batman could also potentially apply to most, if not all of the heroes of DC, who at times have felt less like people than they have like aspects. I think it's also one of the biggest struggles for DC characters being in the movies; not because of the terrible writing that has plagued at least a handful of those movies, but because of the difficulty of attempting to humanize those characters in a way that doesn't make them feel underwhelming. Comparing that to the MCU, where Marvel characters are typically more humanized almost right out of the gate, the DCEU definitely has always had a higher mountain to climb in that regard.

Batman is ALWAYS becoming another Powered Being (Superman, a Lantern, Flash...) But NO ONE becomes Batman...😂

Awesome video Rob.! Batman's biggest fear sounds a lot similar to Thor's fear of being unworthy of Mjolnir during Jason Aaron's run with Gorr. Which later on informs why was Nick Fury was able to make him Unworthy of mjolnir towards the end of original sin. (spoilers😂)

That image and thumbnail remind me of a Batman Shadow Powers Pitch, how has there not been a story arc where Batman and his family are? at least temporarily, it gets some kind of magical demonic shadow powers. Give him an Umbrankentic Vemon Suit turned dark Phenoix like story arc where he and the Batfamily all gain shadow powers and have to deal with Demonic Charged verisons of his Rouges Gallery. ( After like a year, things will go bad. When this family of vampires paraniod control freaks tendencies get the better of them) and mister Dark knight becomes a Dark Lord or Dark Dragon "I'm Darkness, I am Despair, I'm the Umbran." You have characters like the Shade, Obsidian, Raven nightshade, etc. He'll his close fired with reality warper Zatanna and the So in Law of the Mystical immortal Leader of the League of Shadows, Ra's al Ghul. No super strength or flight, Just Constructs( weapons, suits, etc.), Teleportation (already does), Empathy( Emotional Darkness Manipulation), Shadow body ( physucls damage immunity, You can knock him around and beat him up at him pull himself back together), Sunlight Absorption (no vampire, the power works during the day, and gives the BatFam V Superfam fight some legs) You can put it back in the box when it's over. (Or not, Bruce You hasn't even really written like a normal person any more anyway)

Nice that in an event like this that we get to see Bruce's greatest fear. The greatest question is like a few times before we have seen Batman tell himself that he wont be like he has been and let others help more than they have in the past and his character will always go back to default. Will this be the moment that Bruce allows himself to be happy FOR ONCE!
