Batman was always my favorite comic book character overall - because his motivation is this major psychological wound. A criminal killed his parents and now he runs around symbolically avenging those deaths by going out night after night and beating criminals to a pulp - you say that, you understand the character - it's so elegantly simple, and yet contains so many complex psychological layers - it's brilliant.

Not going to lie, aside from the movie itself, I really liked the batsuit featured in this. I definitely prefer it to the later ones in the trilogy, and it may even be my favourite live action batsuit as a whole.

Plus i give the benefit of the doubt with actors a lot more now. Heath was getting critiqued because he was coming from stuff like Knight's tale and Broke back mountain. or Joaquin Phoenix, people didn't believe him to live up to Ledger's performance. My take on everything is each actor or actress brings something to the table that perhaps was missing with the last while playing their own such as Joaquin going into the deepest and darkest parts of the Joker, what makes him snap, Heath Made the joker a really good and serious enemy that gives Batman a good run for his money and so on

this was an almost perfect batman with an amazing origin story. The only thing that I didn't like about this batman was the combat but other than that, this is definitely my favorite Batman.

the criticism i see for Ben Affleck goes to "He can't act, he was boring in Daredevil" but Ben gave us the most badass in combat Batman. Christian Bale made Batman the most terrifying. Keaton had the mannerism of Wayne and Batman.

I didn‘t appreciate this movie enough when I watched it as a teenager when it came out (mostly for what they did with Ra’s al Ghul, one of the best sometimes villain/sometimes allied characters from DC)... nowadays, I believe it is almost as good as Dark Knight, especially as the prelude to the third one, which I like the least of this trilogy as a movie, but has a great ending

Never heard of you guys before tonight, but I was scanning for someone who'd reacted to Christopher Nolan's Batman, so I was curious. I wished you'd had some volume on the movie. Yeah, I've seen it. For instance, you left out, "Does it come in black," and "I gotta get me one of those," as a couple epic quotes, so yeah, I've seen it. But it still would've been nice to actually hear the movie. Would you entertain turning on the closed-captions? Whatever you think is fine because I'm just one person. Despite that I couldn't hear the movie, I found your approach attractive. Especially with men, they're always having to make smart-a** remarks and jokes; heaven forbid anyone might be touched or moved. There were a couple of those, but you guys were REALLY enthusiastic about the movie; you really watched it with a "...you gotta see this..." attitude. So it was fun despite left-out parts and occasional tweeter blowout when you'd get psyched about something and, well, yell into the mic. Your enthusiasm kept me all the way through. Who's the guy on my left, on your right edge of the couch? He just paid attention. I'd bet he could quote every line of dialog; he just watched. Looks like he has a classic comic-book image on his shirt; a true fan. What's not to like? Well, I'm looking forward to you guys doing "The Dark Knight." Oh, and you just proved something: You don't have to be watching the movie for the first time. Seems like you know what's in the movies already, but that didn't take away from anything. A lot of reactors think it has to be a virgin viewing, but I enjoy mainly if the reactor is more enjoying the movie than trying to show us how smart or clever he/she is. A fun watch! :)
