This was, for the most part, a really interesting concept. It will probably never happen again, now the House of Mouse owns Marvel's soul.

Patch Malone is an amalgamation of Bruce Wayne's criminal disguise, Matches Malone (an alter ego that has taken control of some of Gotham's criminal underworld without arousing any Batman-related suspicion), and Wolverine's 'disguise' Patch (read: Wolverine with an eyepatch, making no attempt to hide the fact that he's Wolverine, to the point that his friends didn't realize it was meant to be a disguise at all).

Ahhh, I remember the Amalgam-Verse. It was a novel concept, hankering back to a time where Marvel & DC use to collaborate with each other & gave us fans things we've only dreamed of. This had great potential, but alas it really wouldn't have lasted, because both comic book companies would eventually fight over profits from their combined characters. I don't see the Amalgam-Verse ever happening again, unless Disney manages to also acquire the rights to DC comics characters.

I actually like some of the amalgam characters they thought up here. Sparrow and Hyena are particularly clever mixed names.

Let's not forget Doctor Strangefate, the fusion of Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate. He was my favourite of these characters.

They should have mixed moonknight, think about batman always fighting his demons and they look like his parents, his sidekicks, his family and that would make his connection to two face even better

I always liked Jubilee in the 90's x-men and Robbin from Teen Titans was pretty cool so seeing both of them combine pretty much blew my mind.

Many of these amalgams are WTF?! inducing but this backstory is like they are trying to make the most convoluted thing possible.

More almagam would be awesome my 10 year old brother is getting into comics and your show helps to catch him up or introduce him to things he did not know previously. He now has a 2014 book that says it lists all of the characters within the marvel universe but fails to include any mention of the almagam universe or other solely Marvel characters

Oh, Lobo the Duck, what a beautiful creation you are, along with the Goose Rider. Speaking of which, it would be cool if you covered those comics where Marvel took a bunch of their heroes and made them into animals because it's just so hilariously stupid what they did. Captain Americat, the Fantastic Fur, and of course Goose Rider just to name a few.

They could have done better with the back story but Dark Claw was a cool amalgam. I didn't care for the cut out in the claws, looked stupid, as did the bat-tooth mustache. Hyena was great. Sparrow wasn't bad. I'd like to see more amalgam videos. I was disappointed that the marvel/DC fights were based on popularity verse power/skill set. The mashups were mostly creative though some were lack luster. The Superman/Captain America ~ Super Soldier for example. Just Superman with a shield. I'd like to see more mashups where each character brought something to the table that made an improvement to the other.
