Annetta you are my main twirling inspiration. I was a late starter to baton twirling. I started just before the end of 8th grade and I am about to be a junior in high school. Baton twirling quickly went from just something fun to try to my entire life and passion in just 3 years! I am now also twirling competively and am doing great with my solos. Thank you so much for being such a great twirling role model. It has been an emotional and rough 3 years for me and seeing how you never gave up helped me to keep pushing and to never give up. I also read through your book and it gave me a lot of inspiration. I started from your elbow roll and fishtail tutorials and now I am working on spinning elbow pops and one of your toss under the leg combos. You make really great tutorials that are easy to follow. Can you do a video on the different types of batons. Training as a child, which is best. Choosing one. Balance of the baton, does it matter. What if it becomes damaged and bends, can you fix it? Care of it. Boots, does it matter. Gear for baton twirling. Nobody talks about this stuff and the differences. Suggest some sites. I'm 63 and use to when I was young twirl. Was just average but have been inquisitive since some kids in the family have wanted lessons from the city park program. Are there seniors who twirl?
