Batterstown village is located on the R154 road from Trim to Dublin. It always looks clean and pretty, and well worth a pit stop.

What a lovely village and picturesque pub. Please send me some of that rain and wind 💨💦. A friend had Covid recently. Unfortunately, it is here to stay as long as humans exist. Those thatched cottages look like they are in pretty good shape.
