I love this interpretation of Junkil. It’s such a more wholesome version of the relationship between Spamton and Kris in normal Deltarune, or at least Junkil is much better at making it seem that way. I seriously had the mental image of him hugging Asriel towards the end there when he thought Asriel was freeing him. I honestly had a bit of a hard time believing this Junkil would actually fight Azzy, but it seems Junkil genuinely thought that taking Azzy’s soul would help him, while Asriel and friends don’t know if it would or not and try to defend themselves against the obviously violent removal process.

I like how at 1:22 Junkil references Scampton in these lines (just like Spamton NEO has one line of dialogue about Jevil). A subtle detail of the fight that is only brought up here (at least from what I've seen and heard) Edit: rewording

Honestly the only thing that hurts it for me is the removal of the “You were the first one” from the secret lyrics. It feels like Azzy was the first one who actually tried to help Junkil Other than that I love it

I LOVE that you made his speech depict him not as a pure villain, but a sympathetic man taking back what was stolen from him, and fulfilling his destiny. Perfect for him using Undyne the Undying's body because in her battle, you're the villain.

1:20 I love these lines as it refers to Scampton, while I don't know much about Chapter Rewritten, Im assuming that the cloak Junkil is referring to is Scamptons as one of the items you get after fighting him, especially since it says to go out with a bang, a reference to Scampton and his theme, BIG BANG, and also solidifying that this is Scampton/his item as he's able to talk through it. Really love how they bring back the fact that Junkil and Spamton are both aware and know of Jevil and Scampton
