I watched this on a screen 4 or 5 years after it was made. The major decapitation scene got a very big audience response. This was way before movies showed realistic gore, so this was cutting-edge (you might say) for its time.

The Pepsi doctor played very well. His calm and monotonous voice sounded exactly like a therapist should sound.

First saw this movie as a kid in the early 2000s. Woke up around 3-5am and this movie started playing. Kid me was disturbed by what I saw on screen but I couldn’t look away. My eyes were glued to the screen. I didn’t care that it was in b&w. Fast forward, I’m 27 now and this film has come back in my life and has become a comfort film strangely enough haha 😂

This movie was very well made. Very! That’s not an understatement and Joan Crawford nailed her role and she should have gotten more positive feedback on it. She played the hell out of her role ❤️
