As I am writing this, it’s the end of 2021. And now I am starting on a new project where I will be re-ranking all 11 original/ default uber banners in 2022.
There have been many new changes to these uber sets, the meta itself and changes of my opinion that made me decide to start this project.
The re-ranks that will start in 2022 will include the following:
- Custom hand drawn thumbnails
- A brand new, much more detailed methodology (No more generalist methodology)
- 2 Songs/ Soundtracks per video
- New Ubers now included
- Legend Rares now included
The style of the videos will remain the same, so don’t worry about any compensations.
Now regarding the new methodology, I already have it set up. This new methodology is more geared towards valuing niche based units. This was done after some criticism over the old BCEN Methodology, and should satisfy many of your needs.

Along with this, I will be opening a brand new discord server. However, this server will not be a place to chat.
Instead, this server will be a place where you can participate in polls and rank these 9 uber sets yourself. I will then collect that data which will help give me a better idea over these rankings. As a bonus, you can see sneak peeks of the thumbnails and other stuff.

I’m excited to see how this will play out, hopefully this will be the final time I rank these sets for a long while.
Honorable Mentions:
Any uber - No uber in the game can be described as “essential.” However Mitama & Dark Kasli in particular are 2 ridiculously strong units, but the truth is there’s a lot of non uber cats that are more valuable to have than even those 2.
Cameraman Cat - Definitely a top 10 unit thanks to her versatility, but I simply felt Can Can & Cyberpunk have much more to offer with their unique game breaking stats/ abilities whereas Cameraman has weaker alternatives to offer.
Ramen Cat - A very strong unit to boost with a ridiculously good niche, however the top 2 units on the list mostly do his job well enough under most circumstances.
Slime Cat - Another unit that would’ve definitely made a top 10, Slime Cat is extremely cheap and provides godlike wave damage. However I disagree with putting him at top 5 since Slime Cat can be somewhat inconsistent due to his range being way too short which is a big problem considering he’s as light as a feather.
Pizza Cat - Mostly the same deal as cameraman cat.
Mohawk/ Manic Mohawk - 2 more meatshields, but the mohawks become less demanding to use in later game once you have your erasers. Unlike erasers, mohawks have some weaknesses as meatshields and have so many alternatives.
Eggy - You’re not funny
