There are a lot, A LOT, of really good Black Sails videos like this, but this one definitely catches Flint the best, I think.

beautifully depicts the self destructive spiral he cast himself in. violence and blood, almost just for the sake of it. it gives us thrills because everyone of us found himself at least once feeling that way and craving for some sort of revenge, that never came. amazing character!

He was already unhinged, clinging to the fight for freedom as his justification for nothing else but vindication for Thomas. When Miranda died, he lost purpose in the justification, only to see rage at the blade's edge, at the pistol's barrel.
