It did come back in 2018 but it had been off ITV for so long that it didn't have the magic that it had in the 70's and 80's, they were the golden days and without Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy the 2018 version simply didn't work for me, especially when it had an American feel to it. I just like to nostalgia side of it now.

I disagree daddy and haystacks were headline acts enjoyed by millions in the 40min time slot on itv at the time.. Saw b.daddy wrestle john "the bear"eligah in brighton a full 6 round no "splash"in sight. Just wrestling from 2 strong men...there tough men who "entertained" us for decades...in a lot of cases for little reward.

I would have preferred more live sound and a lot less wall to wall commentary from two men who seem to like the sounds of their own voices. Less is more in this case.

I've seen clips of the wrestlers as I have seen the bit with a very young Marty Jones in but if the whole program still exists I have no idea

"Not Fancy, Not Flashy, Not many colorful Wrestlers, Not any gimmick Wrestlers, but........ its what Wrestlers & Wrestling was like in the United Kingdom and unlike here in the U.S. which Wrestling was like a sideshow of Wrestlers with facepaint, ring attire,outlandish characters, etc........but no matter what country its in its still pro wrestling, Wrestling isn't the same in all countries."-☕🤔🖥..

You have watched very little British wrestling if you haven't seen Catweazle, Kendo Nagasaki, Adrian Street, Kung Fu, Iron Fist.... list goes on and on. British Wrestling was always character based and flashy, Big Daddy was the epitomy of style over substance. We just weren't as good at it.
