Hi loves! Here's a product comparison testing out the Mielle Organics Honey & Ginger Gel and the Camille Rose Curl Maker! I've tried these products in the past, but I didn't really remember how they worked in my hair. Here's an update on my thoughts, using both products in my hair!

I'll stick with Mielle styling gel. First of all I'm not paying $22 for CR when I can get similar results with Mielle for $11 cheaper. Plus, Mielle holds my wng longer than any other styling product that I've tried, and all I have to do is spritz a bit of water on my hair to spruce it up. I don't even have to add more product. That's enough for me.

Camille Rose is just AWESOME! The only brand in my stash. Oil will easily break that cast. 😉

i have noticed that having a lot of scrunch is so much better than not having at all... because a cast makes sure that your curls will be intact for a whole week, you just refresh your hair and there will still be moisture and a cast

So BEAUTIFUL!! I just bought the “Camille Rose” today, and I was hesitant because of the price. I was juggling between that and the Mielle (isn’t that a coincidence?!) This video was the confirmation I needed!! Your hair is SO stunning that both sides were amazing!! I totally agree with you that they look IDENTICAL!! My conclusion is that I’m glad I purchased the Camille Rose, but I’m confident when the COINS get tight (and they often do because I’m an educator 👩🏾‍🏫 ), that I can fall back on the Mielle... Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!!!

Omg both sides look good! 😍💞I’ve used both products before but with different leave ins, I loved how the Mielle one clumped your curls more. That’s one of my personal preferences, but one thing I noticed is when I used the Mielle I had to use more product than I would from Camille to get the desired hold and definition. I think if you’re on a budget the Mielle is a good dupe for the Camille

I'm so glad I found you!! Your hair is really similar to mine! My hair looks really frizzy and undefined when there's no product but when I add it my curls are super defined like yours. I haven't found a lot of curly girls who have the same natural frizz as me 💗 💗 new subscriber and currently binging all videos!

I look forward to seeing this video because I have both of these products! 😍💗 without watching yet, my vote will be for Camille Rose Curlmaker because it’s one of my favorite gels, but I’d love to see your experience to see if I can get some great use out of the Mielle gel as well!

Love Camille Rise! The Love Milk and Curl Maker are formulated to use together. I use more lotion than gel. Love your results!

The Curl Maker is my go to gel. The Curl Maker gives your hair a little more curl definition, but I will say both gel looks really good.

I am so glad I found this video comparison! You did an excellent job! I have been wondering about the Camille Rose. I have been using the Mielle pomegranate combo & loving the results. I like a crunch too. I know my curls will last longer. My hair resonates with yours, so this wear perfect así just bought the Ginger gel & was wondering how it would pair with my pomegranate leave in. I also have the custard, so I might glaze a little over before drying idk. I also like that you can use the Ginger leave in to refresh, which I like to do to keep my curls on point. I'm excited to try this combo. I just deep conditioned & am going to use the Mielle pomegranate & the Ginger styler. Thank you so much for this video! God bless!

Your results came out so bomb! 😍 but my favorite side has to be the Camille rose one, I’m a fan of volume and strong holds. I definitely wanna try these Camille Rose products soon & the honey and pomegranate leave in from Mielle is one of my favorites as well!

The Camille rose cambo is the bomb! I have been using the curl maker gel and the Camille leave in for 2 weeks now and my wash and go turns out awesome! Definitely recommend it.

I don’t like potent fragrances so I wouldn’t use the Mielle but both sides look good. I’ve only used Camille Rose Curlmaker, I also love Uncle Funkys Daughter Curly Magic.

I’ve used the mielle pomegranate and honey leave in and it smells good and makes my hair soft but i tend to get a little bit of build up. Idk if I’m doing something wrong

Oil helps the crunch if anyone doesn’t like it. They both look great.

I love Mielle. It's about the technique if you want more hold you can use more of the product. When I want a soft hold I use less.

I def want to try the Camille Rose w the leave in after seeing this video . I’m not a fan of potent smells or want my hair to smell like ginger. I also like /prefer a crunch /string hold to make my curls last min 5 days and still look good w at least 1 refresh. Can you try curl daze ? I’ve also heard good things about that product - the Gel and the styler.

I think we have kind of similar hair and I swear I keep buying products for my hair and they don’t work I’m not sure if I’m doing anything right.. idk but do you have any tips for beginners on thick curly hair ? And what products do you recommend? ( I haven’t straightened my hair in years and some of my ends are really thin and aren’t as tight of a curl..

I love Mielle products, however I have not tried this product. They both seemed to have done a great job. Your hair had volume, shine and was well defined. If I did wash and go I would use both. Have you tried mixing the two together and see how they work?

I love the CRCM but it takes so long to dry on my hair and I don’t use a lot. I tried the Mielle Ginger on a section of hair and it dried crunchy and had my hair feeling dry. I still prefer the CRCM as my favorite gel with Eco Olive oil coming in second. The CRCM is a moisturizing gel on my hair (3b,c & 4a /medium porosity).

Interesting that CRCM is #1 for you! I do like the way it works in my hair, but that eco olive oil HOLD.... idk idk idkkkkk! But I have to start switching it up more. Its so easy to naturally gravitate to that same old products!

I like both. I really love Mielle's Pomegrante Leave-In, they make my curls really defined; I can swear by that product. I only used Camille Rose Curl-Maker once, and wasn't really a a big fan + it is very expensive, but maybe I need to try it again with their Styling Gel.

I really like the leave-in too, I should definitely pick it up more. I agree, the pricing for Camille rose is a bit much especially if you tend to run through product like I do 🥴- give it another shot and let me know how it goes!!

P.s ILYAG I agree, I did expect more hold for the price. But what I've learned is that price doesn't always mean much. Some of my favorite gels are under $10!

They do look the same, but I wish there was a follow up video or a pinned comment to say what happened after you slept on it etc. I feel like I need to know what happened the next day. But I didn’t know about the Mielle product so now I know what I can try when my coins get tight.

I have both the Curl Love & Curlmaker and the Mielle Pom & Honey leave in and the Honey & Ginger Gel. My go to for my wash n go’s right now is the Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel paired with the Curl Maker🥰 this combo gives my fine super soft curls major definition and lots of hold. I can easily get a 5 day or longer wash n go with these two products! I have yet to try the Mielle combo or the Curl Love paired with the Curl Maker. You make me want to try them now after looking at this video 😄💕

Nuestro cabellos son tan parecidos. Por lo mismo que te preocupas, me preocupó yo: para que no tome tanto frizz, y por ende, se enrede menos, me gusta que el primer día esté un poco duro, usar gel pesado y tratar de que no tenga frizz desde antes de secarse. Que Dios te bendiga!

Im persoanlly a camielle rose enjoyer since i have thin low potosity 3b/3c hair. If i pair it with a little bit of ouidad gel it is 100% perfect dor me personally. Mielle feels too heavy in my hair usually.

“This is fun” 🤣 I had fun watching it. the CR looks better on you. My personal fave on my hair is the Mielle. That’s one of my fave gels. No crunch, shiny and bouncy and it surprisingly lasts long on me. I like volume out the gate lol. The CR doesn’t give me my desired results. It simply doesn’t work on my texture 🤷🏿‍♀️

@@veronicaholguin9599 the Mielle ginger gel gives me 4-5 days of wearable moisturized hair. Day 5 I’d have to refresh or redo. My hairstyles usually don’t last that long

@@veronicaholguin9599 I love the Mielle Pom Honey leave in or the Pattern leave in (I would suggest Edenbody works coconut Shea for more budget friendly). I only use leave in and gel for wash n go’s and leave in, styling cream and mousse for twist/braidouts. I have fine strands

Camille Rose is my go to and I have fine strands as well. I do get crunch but my hair gets volume over time. My wash n go lasts 5 to 7 days and it could go longer.
