Battle of the Wire Strippers! Stanley Fatmax Automatic Wire Stripper vs. C.K Automatic Wire Stripper

In today's video I put two titans of the wire stripping world together and make them fight to the death for wire stripping dominance..
Well - perhaps not to the death, just see which one is better!
I've chosen to put my old faithful Stanley Fatmax Automatic Wire Strippers (UK - amzn.to/3fH9ddY / USA - amzn.to/33EUxcT ) up against my brand new C.K Automatic Wire Strippers (UK - amzn.to/3FPNYkT / USA - N/A ). I look at the pros and cons of each, and then test them on a range of different wire / cable that you might come across in the home.
This is in no way a scientific test, and I'm not an expert - it's just my opinion..
Which is best? Well you better watch and find out!

I've only used the Stanley fat max and for its price I'd say its totally worth it, I've bought it since I started college at age 16 and now I'm 24 and its still going strong. I will be buying the the other one which is on the screen and I hope its durable.

I bought a non branded pair from Amazon like the Stanley style when I started my apprenticeship for about £15 and they still work perfectly now so have never updated them.

Thanks for the comparison vid, always nice to mix it up a bit with something different 🙂👍 Deleted/Edited... Due to my lack of understanding on this video i just wanted to explain for my deleted/edited negative comment, not that you can see it or that is was bad, it was just a bit negative & sarcastic asking to do a spanner comparison vid next time, properly because my judgement & expectations was clouded and i didn't realize how much went into the vid and I've seen how much work has gone into not just this channel but the hole journey, So i just wonna say SORRY to Kip for my thoughtlessness & stupidity 😥 Anyone reading this plz be aware that some comments can hurt!!! 🙂👍

Thanks, you've answered exactly what I as trying to fins out. I work in AV with mostly smaller cores, the Stanley should do the job at the price.

I have both, re-badged under different names. I prefer the CK ones but the blades aren’t great. If I could find replacements I’d be more than happy. Despite them being marketed as replaceable I can’t find them anywhere.

Buy the Knipex, then you’ll find the replacement blades.
