"Huge" is a stretch. I'm buying it as we speak but I'm anticipating a player count that starts the high thousands and drops to a few hundred after a couple months. Hope I'm proven wrong!

10 hours in and now with an level XP requirement nerf as of today, I can safely say this is worth the bargain of $14.99 I would save $60+ just by playing this.

I was in a helicopter with my team and suddenly a countdown started saying "Early Access Release Date Announcement" and this very trailer played during the match. That is honestly the best way to reveal a release date I've ever seen and this game will be a day one purchase for me. Haven't had this much fun with a game like this since Battlefield 1. I miss that game's glory days so it's nice to start a new era here. Congrats on the launch.

underappreciated footage capture and editing work on this trailer. almost every shot moves to a different ally in center frame or a reverse shot of the enemy pov.

There is only one single thing I would love to have; The ability to turn up the quality of the lighting. Nothing else needs to change graphically. Lighting is perhaps single-handedly the most important when it comes to immersion.

This game is releasing in the perfect time as well I feel. The well of casual fun FPS' is running pretty dry right now, 2042 outright shot itself in the head, WW3 barely clinging to dear life, CoD being the same 10x10m deathmatch and so many other indie FPS titles dying after a month of their release. BattleBit is just a fucking fun game made by people who understand what their players are after. I can't wait to see this game thrive!

Was a pretty early Patreon supporter and was able to attend quite a few tests over the development process. This company knows how important community feedback is and as opposed to the triple-A companies *cough cough* EA, Dice, Activision *cough cough* they actually LISTEN and thoroughly test their game before launching. If they did what most companies would have done and released in early access for the retail price last year, they would have failed and became obsolete by now. They have done nothing but grow my trust in the developers over the time I have watched this project, and I just wanna say from the bottom of my heart that I appreciate the blood, sweat, and tears the team has poured into this masterpiece. This is the game we have all been waiting for.

For the few 15 hours of gameplay I was able to accumulate during the playtests I must say that I enjoyed every bit of it. It sucks that i cannot play it anymore cuz im broke but when i do eventually get some money I'd definitely spend it on this. The team deserves every penny, besides the price is very affordable compare to other FPS games that doesn't have half as much as the cool features this game has.

Honestly, this game has the best combination of features of just about any game I've ever played. It could use some more vehicle variety and more loadout customization (the gun customization is great but the rest could use a bit of a boost) and this game is perfect.

*It has the combination of best features - not best combination of features This results in a mess with Titanfall level of movement, Squad level of heal mechanics, HLL level of TTK and reload speed along the attachment grind of War Thunder. The bad enemy distinction visibility, friendly marker clutter, and graphics simpler than Minecraft (lack of AO) makes this enjoyable for only a few hours. The mixing and matching of Hardcore and Softcore mechanics doesn't work well here and I don't see what player base is this supposed to pull in as right now it's more like a more arcade version of Battlefield that hasn't yet balanced the maps, mechanics and TTK. Hovewer, the potential is insane and they have promised community servers which could remedy the game.

@@randoguy7488 This does not have the movement of Titanfall, it has the movement of squad that is slightly sped up + grappling hooks (no sliding, no wall running, ect ect). Heal mechanics of Squad but more forgiving. TTK is Squad (and HLL and many others), reload speed is Squad but the animations differ. Then it has the graphics of roblox and destruction mechanics that best most of the Battlefields. All that being said its still pre Early Access. I've been playing this game for a year throughout the tests and it has changed quite a lot in that time. As you mentioned there is a ton of potential. Especially once we have custom servers that can be modded and adjusted. I'd love a Galactic Contentions Mod (Star Wars Squad Mod) for this game.

@@randoguy7488 Love the contrarian viewpoint, I personally think the game's premature praise has parallels to The Outer Worlds when it positioned itself against Fallout. People are just fucking tired of these giant evil corporations so they are just smitten to become poster-childs for these games, only for that excitement to never manifest in player numbers after the game's eventual release. that is not to say I am not intrigued by the project as a long-time legacy Battlefield fan, but i found my time with Battlebit to be frustrating bc of the lack of responsiveness mostly, but also the trashy low-effort art design. sometimes in Battlefield 3 I would just sit around on Caspian Border and stare at the watercolor clouds and vibrant trees

10 hours in since yesterday and I'm not regretting it. Frugis and Tensatown are peak urban experience personally, and it's a blast. Though I'd like to see anti-aircraft (FIM-92 and 9K38 Igla) launchers and even a Javelin or Stugna/TOW missile emplacements for vehicles, as well as loadout customization in the menu instead of in-game, something I didn't like about Battlefield 3-4. And in the future some immersive voiceovers would work nicely.
