I can’t believe I’m only seeing this video now. What an excellent explanation of the war from an unbiased view. I love how you brought up previous wars that led to WWI. I was always sceptical about the propaganda used from both sides and didn’t know that the Lusitania had ammunition on board. My answer for your question on who started the war was also everyone. I think every country was guilty of the war as it would have happened regardless. You probably won’t see this comment, but I’d love to see more videos like this from you. The Interwar conflicts and WWII would be a great sequel to this and I’d love to hear your opinion on it.

When this video was initially released I only made it around 15 minutes. Seeing as its WW1s 100th anniversary this week I was a lot more intrigued to learn more about the topic. I NEVER KNEW the Lusitania was smuggling arms like that. That even being a possibility was never taught to my class. What a game changer man.... *very captivating video* 🖒

Great, informative video. I do not play BF1 but follow your GTA Online videos. I was very impressed by your documentary and watched the entire thing. I was especially impressed that you mentioned Macedonia. A non-existing country during the WW1 era that was promised independence by multiple countries and was betrayed. I am a history major from Rhodes College for my first BA and I still learned a few things from your video. Great work! You should consider doing more of these. If you are interested in the Franco-Prussian war, I did a 20 page paper on it and found it very fascinating. You're correct in that Prussia wanted war, but there's much more detail! It's really fascinating. Anyway, great work, hope you will do more of these and maintain your interest in history. I know you are Playstation gamer, but Europa Universalis IV is basically the best game ever for history fans, and it has coop :D

O see like 10 documentaries like 10 hours about this war, I love them there was a lot of moments when u see the worst and best of people there killing each other, eating and playing two people of different countries is just beautiful and being so kind of master piece is thinking those imagines were more 100 years ago. Each moment is important imagine how the history could be so different is something happened or not

Good video! It was nice to hear some words about Slovenia the Country I was born in and i know queit a bit about war in our Country. And i can say we have queit an big role in that war. But just so you know italy never ocupied the whole Slovenia/Croatia/Serbia teritory. We were holding Italians on Battles of the Isonzo. They couldn't broke trough there and they lost alot of Men there. Partisan the mixed nationality army of Slovenia/Croatia/Serbia fighted as good as they could and defended the Home Nation!

By the way, the only reason the Russians got involved is because they thought the Austro-Hungarian empire would annex Serbia, but the Hungarians would not allow that to happen. So if the Austrians just told the Russians that they would not annex Serbia because of the Hungarians, this war could have been prevented.
