I am sorry the video is a little long but I wanted to cover the whole backstory of what led up to the massacre. The St Valentine’s Day Massacre DLC in GTA Online is completely based off this event. Many people do not know the real history behind what happened. This is a fun historical video I wanted to make teaching people the history behind the massacre.

I thought there was many more people killed in VD massacre, but I guess 7 was a lot at the time. Doesn't sound as that much when you look at today's shootings, terrorist attacks, etc. Sadly Anyway, not sure if you didn't count it or didn't know, but there is a game called Mafia: The City Of Lost Heaven. It's a Czech game from 2002 and it was critically praised. It takes place in 1930's and you work for Mafia in it. Worth checking out

So, Rockstar went all the way with the references to the Roosevelt and Gusenberg as well as the event itself, but: 1. Roosevelt not armored... imagine the thing being a Kuruma alternative, I'm sure a lot of people would buy it at almost any price. 2. No Brewerys, Casinos, Prositution as business.

Awesome history. In school we read a book called "Al Capone does my shirts" but it never talks about why he was in jail or any background information about him being in a gang. Great video. Basically these wars consisted of Polish, Irish, German, and Italian Americans. In some weird ways, America was more "free" back then when it came to the business world. Now days businesses are heavily regulated by the government and private contractors.

Well it the whole idea is a bit obsolete because alcohol is legal, it worked back then because low supply high demand and people would pay any price to get drunk yknow, it can theoretically still work be it wouldn’t be registered by the police yadda yadda like the gunrunning business.

I'm pretty sure Al Capone's Cadillac appears in Scarface: The World is Yours but as the"Whiskey Ghost" unlocked at Reputation level 7, costing $10,000,000. It's said in game as "one-of-a-kind" and "Al Capone's personal car", although I remember it having some bling. Funnily enough, I think the original Scarface movie from 1932 was inspired off a novel loosely based off Al Capone's life.
