as a french it really pleases me to see that people from other countries are also concerned with this EA joke. I know we may get a better treatement (and yet i'm not sure :/) with a separate dlc but we're not a part of the campaign while France was the main player with Germany during WW1 and above all i'll have to pay 15 euros to play my country. In terms of "unknown stories", it's funny how the group SABATON already make a much better "Battlefield 1" game than the game itself. They have already given a Serbian Campaign with "Lady of the Dark", a French Campaign with "The First Soldier", or a Canadian Campaign with "A Ghost In The Trenches".

Amazing enough this video is back! It got taken down for copyright over a year ago, but then amazingly came back for whatever reason. Maybe one day I'll do a HD remake with 90% less cringe. Quite a lot has changed since I made this video. Tannonburg is now a thing, and there's been two major battlefield controversies since then. I remember being in high school and taking so much time out of class just to read ALL the comments. The amount of views and positive feedback I got from this video was absolutely phenomenal. I must thank all you guys, even the haters. This video went through two major view spikes throughout its history, when b1 first came out and the subsequent DLC releases. Over the years I have personally change quite a lot, but yet have gone almost nowhere within that time.

EA confused me when they released the French dlc, but the Americans were in the base game. Considering I'm American and know more about French involvement in WW1 than American involvement. SOMETHING AT EA HQ WENT TERRIBLY WRONG!!!!!

I hate how they portray the Americans bigger in the war than the French. They joined the war very late and way more French men served than Americans. Even as a non-french individual, it still makes me upset how historically inaccurate this game actually is.

I have to say, the game is beutiful, it accurately depicts some of the battlefields with stunning graphics ahead of its time, however it does not accurately depict the uniforms or trench warfare, witch is a bit frustrating, the subject of the guns, I understand that it's battlefield so they have to have smgs and stuff more ww2 than 1. but they could have at least done a little bit more research with the uniforms or trench warfare, because honestly, not being racist, this Turkish bs is fucking anoying. I get that they were in the war, but this is NOT how they advertised the game, in the trailer I saw MOSTLY western front, mud, no mans land, exct. I wana see some mutha fukin trench warfare, and if I have to pay some extra cash money for it, fine. but this shit better have some down and dirty, muddy fucking trench warfare, if we get some dumb city ruins or happy little green mountains ima be mad. I want some trenches. I would play Verdun but I'm a console player (unfortunately)

i mean it kiiinda makes sense that half the French is black in bf because blacks weren't allowed to fight in the American army and were assigned to French units. (hence why they have French helmets and US uniforms)

I wouldn't be surprised if 2/4 classes will have a black dude in them when German team also had 1/4 even tho in real life only 5 black Germans served in the western front. 3 of them may have held a gun. 2 of them were part of marching band.

So EA is making regular, non colonial, British and German black troops? That's retarded. And ironic thing is that virtually all black combat troops on the Western Front were French, until the few segregated American units came in 1918.

Y'all can bitch all you want but this DLC is gonna give them more content based around than any other army so far, other than the British Who I belive have 6 maps. U.S , italian and Astro-Hungary have 2, Ottoman's have 3, and the Germans are in 4 maps. If anything by the end of the DLC this year the Germans are going to be featured in way more maps than any other army.
