Just imagine if we had it on PC. We would then probably have been able to play on community hosted servers as soon as the official servers shut down.

@LeotseilGaming I think BF 1942 MP demo still has servers xD .. man I had the full game and I still went back to that demo the epic wake island. I was sooo disappointed when they released this just for XBOX. I must have spend half by free teenage time playing that map.

@@RonPaulBot1234 I actually still own BF1942 with the two expansions, but I unfortunately only ever played it offline against bots. Wake Island has always been an iconic map, and it was definitely my favorite map in BF1943.

Yeah, me too. I was actually surprised just how much I would miss this game after they closed the servers. I mean, I knew I was going to miss it, but I didn't think I would miss it as much as I do.

Have you heard that they have partially reverse engineered the game and will release a first version on fortnite? I have red it in the discord of battlefield 1943.

Yup, I'm following the development on their Discord server (they have their own Discord server in addition to the BF1943 server. If you want to join the server, there is a post on the BF1943 subreddit with an invitation link). I'm excited to see what they can do with the Fortnite engine.
