Included some longer clips or less cutting in between to show the nothing or waiting that goes on between "action". A lot of looking for spawn beacons. Anyways sit back and relax or leave this tab running in the background and enjoy the G428 asmr. The video was originally much longer but I cut it down some, yes that Discarded footage is of one life running between three objectives. Also a lot of great moments in the video showing how broken 3D spotting as well as reticle/passive spotting is. If players, "gamers" can't adapt to games without 3D spotting why even bother having soldiers or character models. Having only floating, bouncing 3D icons in red wouldn't change much and they can even sell special effect cosmetics where sparkly or other weird stuff trails from your 3D icon like they have in cheap mini-golf games on Steam :)

The "and more broader changes to recoil, accuracy, and more to bring this weapon in line with other DMRs" bit are what I'm more concerned about than the damage at range reduction. The gun is fun to shoot, to spam click as well. The DM7 and SVK are not, they feel weird when firing and I'm not sure if that is because they have an over the top visual reset or longer/delayed reset or what but they are not fun to shoot in this game no matter what ammo is equipped and the other Vault DMRs share this weirdness when firing ( like it's floating, does that make sense? ). //Update since writing this video description ( I prepared this ahead of time since I'm probably playing Season of Discovery right now ) the actual 6.2 update notes and nerfs to the G428: www.ea.com/games/battlefield/...
After reading the changes I'm not sure why they even added it to the game if they were just going to destroy it like that.
At some point I switched to wrapped suppressor for shits and giggles so I have a bunch of footage with that and Standard Rounds as well. A little bit with the 2x recently but I'm not sure I have much of that and with the changes and nerf coming I'm not sure what I'll do with that footage or if I'll do anything else with the weapon.
I've been playing around with various mousepads to change things up and tweak things so I thought I'd note that I was using the HyperX FURY S ( non-speed version) for all of this gameplay: amzn.to/3t0gDTN

People are actually complaining about the g428? I play on the xbox controller instead of pc MnK (had more time on the game from console than computer) and it has a moderate recoil, it’s not so bad when you practice using it eventually

Let's be honest, a lot of featured weapons are OP at the start and nerfed after the update has been out for a while to artificially increase player counts during that update's lifespan.

Lovely gameplays man. Do you play native 4k on PC? The game looks so clean and clear on pc with custom graphic settings. I play on ps5 and sometimes I wish I could turn off shadows

I just read the changes coming up, and while most is kind of...well, stupid, a few of the suppressor updates MAY cause people to turn to them for the first time. Too bad they aren't fixing the damage for the 45-70 back up to a one hit headshot with the 6KU.

When I was playing BF2 and WoW at the same time I switched to ESDF to get more keybinds on the left side of my hand/keyboard.

@@MBOmnis Not exactly the same time. I got banned from some servers so didn't have a home for BF2 and was playing more WoW during then and started switching up the keys I used. Then people I played with asked me to come be security for a BF2 server and I went back and played BF2 and played less WoW.

Mentioned in a previous video and commented about it. Don’t want to be reliant on them at everything second or every time getting hit. Prefer the gameplay with the crate because not only does it heal him but also anyone else that’s near.

I think passive 3D spotting is still a thing because of early BFV where players complained about enemies being hard to see in some spots. BF players value visibility so I doubt there will be much change to that anytime soon.

BFV's passive or reticle/health bar/nametag spotting wasn't as bad until that last update they did for the game where they increased the distance to some absurd level. Sure in theoretically or in practice it should work well but in the real world or in actual gameplay it's been a broken mechanic since BF3 that basically gives a player accidental wallhacks. Nametag/reticle spotting has been in since BF1942 it's just never been to the extreme levels and brokenness we've had in Battlefield games on the Frostbite engine. It's like a UAV in COD deployed by someone else on your team, you didn't do anything to get or earn this information, the game gave it to you without effort, risk, whatever. Just because your reticle passed over some guy hiding in a bush up to fifty meters away while you were running across the Battlefield doesn't mean the game should tell you there is a guy there, you didn't press a button or do anything to earn that information the game just told you "hey there is a player hiding hear and they don't know I've told you so go ahead and kill him through this object/bush/whatever so they'll think you're cheating"...

@@ozkanteberci8273it’s getting hit with a pretty big nerf it will only 2 shot kill at 20 meters and below also beyond 120 meters I believe it is a 4 shot kill no matter what

@@EvanG529 they are free to think whatever they want but me and many others have lost faith in DICE by now. The only reason BF2042 has not died yet are the sales that lower it to 10€. For that price you get a decent experience but never in my life would I pay 60 for this f*ckup of a game. BF4 at least saved itself after launch but this game aint ever gonna be "good".

@@rob2it BPHS-1 requires some kind of XLR interface to fully use. I'm too lazy to have one for my workstation + render PC I don't play games on.

I guess make sure no third party software is running in the background. I had the EA anti-cheat drop me to the desktop because ( I think ) of WowUp-CF, an addon updater for WoW. It didn't bug me after I closed that.

I think I liked this game better before 3D spotting was implemented. Now that it plays basically just like BF1 and BF4 I might as well just go back to one of those.

@@philosotree5876 You aim at a guy, hit Q and he becomes spotted. His icon appears on the map _and_ on the main game screen showing his exact position (this is the "3D" part).

I hate the fact that they made this gun so weird compared to real life, this should be a slow firing, semi auto heavy DMR like the SVK and now instead of making it proper they will probably make it a peashooter like the DM7. This makes no sense tak a look at the caliber and barrel length of this damn thing

It looks good. Those anims are tight. Nothing better than bf1 but bf1 is the gold standard for the series as far as I am concerned esp with iron sights

The G428 was one of the few incentives that I had left for picking up this game since it is based off of one of my favorite guns. But if there’re going to nerf its effectiveness and fun factor to the ground, then I sadly am going to have even less reason for picking up BF2042

Nope games are usually nice and full bots used to be a big problem though but the game has had a recent massive influx of players over the last few months because of sales although crossplay before that has always kept it atleast decently alive as its a free game on xbox and ps due to the subscription service on both

they are nerfing range on the only viable marksman rifle that was doing what marksman rifle should do, deal damage at range... The worst weapon class in the game... "We want this weapon to be a close range" We have already a Vcar... EA give us marksman rifle that we can use with sniper scope and still able to one shot hs to 120m...

your gameplay is awesome but the game feels so empty and like such a downgrade compared to bf 5, bf1, bf4, bf3, bf bad company 2, bf bad company 1 and all the other battlefield games
