Have you played BF3/BF4 recently? If so, how it been?

I always found full infantry modes like Rush and TDM way more enjoyable than CQ in this game. That could be just me though.

Unexpected texts from people I haven’t spoken to last couple of days and calls in general make me anxious too even when nothing is wrong.

I'm glad I returned Cod modern warfare 23". And gave Battlefield another chance. Runs better looks better, plays better than Cod. Still the best online shooter franchise. Second 🥈 goes to Halo Infinite.

It actually is good now, and I say that as someone who hated it.

It's not bad now. It's definitely not great, plenty of problems like hit registration, balancin ,map design. Pretty fun for casual play. Terrible if you're looking for a complete experience.

BF4 naval warfare was my go to play style. Assault Boats and being able to storm objectives with smgs just hit different

@@MrKained123peak memories. Riding along side the ship as it cruises towards the island, storm increasing and the music rising to a crescendo.

I also miss the atmospheric grandiosity of BF1. That game was a work of polished art. Hope the next game has the creative ambition of that title.

Makes me think of how pretty much immortal the single seat light tank in BF1 was. Tiny fast gremlin sniper tanks with quick self repair.

@@velaikka its the same speed as the land crawler, and heavy tank. the french assult tank is the fastest.

It's crazy how a F2P game like Enlisted gets vehicles combat light years better than Dice

Not to mention how many rockets it takes to take a tank down… you don’t even spawn with enough to take one out, it’s maddening.

i hated tanks in bfv. they just sat in their spawn.

I think BFV may be the best battlefield mechanically. It truly is a joy to play imo

I only played BF3 seriously, just getting into 2042 now. What makes it so much different (or worse) than BF3?

Agree. 2042 feels like a mobile shooter compared to BFV. I still play BFV and it is an awesome experience.

I do agree but not so likely for those who wants wines about "it is not battlefield" or "it ruins the game it should be like the previous game where what attachments i use on my gun should be it." God i hate having my pants down moving from CQ to mid and long range.

@@swector_unit4257 yeah like no reason you can't keep that feature other than people will complain it's not realistic or something dumb. I just want all the quality of life things in an improved bf3/4 kind of game and I'll be happy. 2042 is pretty darn good now tho not at least imo

They could go for a further in-depth customization in the next game too, but keep the plus system the way it is right now. It’s like Crysis, and that’s objectively a good thing.

He really doesn't, it's obvious by how he does his videos and his opinions.

Similar, but I would prefer the air vehicles to have a set amount of flares or a longer recharge. Feels pretty much impossible to take them out at times.

Me too, but I don’t think the current gang has much interest in all getting together to play 2042 unless there’s a big update or something. I’ve been wanting the same thing though and watching some of the old Squad Up BF4 videos to hold me over :)

It’s really not that bad. Of all the things in this game that are broken / annoying, a shotgun is not even close to being on my list.

@@Thedefenses In past titles, if you equip Short range sights such as Kobra or coyote sights, you will go close to the enemy to kill them. if you equip medium range sights like ACOG, you will stay away from enemy to kill them. For long range scopes, you will stay farther away. So it will take more lifes for us to experiment with them and strategize ourselves according to that attachment like staying at which location suits that attachment the best. Also, If i equipped a long range or medium range scope, and an enemy gets very close me, i should able to or trained with these sights in close range to kill them. This strategy of engaging and adoption takes time to understand according to our attachments. But with plus system, If we get farther we change it to medium to long range and if we get closer we change it to Short sight suddenly. This defeats that strategy of engaging and adoption to the scope attachments. My last statement also apply for barrel attachments. Strategizing and adopting ourselves will give more fun in long run than getting more kills. Thats why BF4 and 3 feels very better than 2042 in one way. Plus system gives more ability and freedom, but it takes away that adaption effect to each attachments. Thus spending time with each attachments reduces and thus experimentation reduces. Players use this plus system to have instant advantage of getting kills rather than adopting to attachments. This is the negative part of plus system. Imo, this system is more suited for BR like modes where one life matters. Again, plus system allows us to select different magazine when we are low in ammo. This reduces our dependency on ammo crates. Hence when a players pick support class, they tend to carry medic crate more rather than ammo crate, due to plus system. For an engineer player, resupplying rockets becomes difficult.
