The maps are the key reason why I have no faith in the next BF game. Maps are essential. Them thinking a sandy courtyard is an acceptable fucking map pisses me off. Forget preordering. I’m not even watching trailers for the next game.

@@beterc0re20 dude. BF5 gets a lot of hate sure. And I’m no revisionist. But playing it again makes me realize how BAD 2042 maps are in comparison. It should be studied how badly they fumbled 2042 and the franchise. The next game is their last shot for me personally. I already barely play 2042 as it is.

Yeah, and the reason it worked in BF1 is because that's how you got access to another aircraft. There was a REASON to get that lone point in the middle of the desert. Also, there was also the anti-tank elite. So, what benefit is there in 2042 to get that "A" point on this map? I think the best reason is, "It's on the way. So, why not?" @Enders, you're correct. There will be zero reason for anyone to bother retaking it. Another great video. Thanks!

Ive recently installed Veniced Unleashed for BF3 along with the funbots mod. At default settings the bots do not fuck around and it is a genuinely fun challenge. What instantly hit me was how much better designed bf3's maps were. The level has dropped so low across the board over the last 10 years that it's depressing.

I think any normal battlefield player looked at that conquest layout with a WTF. I had really expected more use of the space. Like the highway or the other half of the stadium. I hope conquest isn't the only mode tho. At least shutdown, but with the limited play area I don't know how rush or breakthrough would even work.

It's insane to think that 2042 could've had huge Comeback. We were screwed regardless. But if they spent the time between Release to S1. They gave us everything back. Squad, Leaderboard (Yikes), Class System, VOIP, etc. Then Reworks. 128 Player Maps. Split the Map in 2 for 64 Players. Cut up the Really Big Maps for more 64 Player Maps. (Stadium is not a bad idea. Just don't lie.) Modernize BF3/BF4 Guns for 2042. + New Guns. But no. Sandbags, Crates and Shipping Containers. People have to sleep as well. EA still managed to fuck up a fuck up.

How cool would it have been if the stadium was destroyed in different sections. There could’ve been so much verticality from different floors and the center of stadium could be littered with a massive plane wreck. The courtyard can still be part of the map, but I wouldn’t want it to be the focus.

I mean, how did people really expect Dice to build a whole new stadium as a map for a game in its last stage. This is kind of what I was expecting already, for them to just reuse the map portion how it was, maybe with a couple of new zip lines but that's it. To me that's decent, not what I would've liked, but decent (just like the whole game itself).

I think Haven were sloppy too, because it's kind of a re-skinned Arica Harbor with more buildings added. It's hard to believe they spent several months to make these 2 sloppy maps. Also, there is boats and water in the game, but no naval maps at all. Nashar Canal don't count, because only one side have boats and is only used as Taxi.

I only started playing in season 6 after playing 1 hour of the beta and ya this is why. A full stadium map would of been cool and the way it was described by many was a vertical redacted which could be fun but this ain't it. For it to be the last content of the game and even that is lazy shows they just wanna move on from this flop of a game. I don't even know what my favorite map is because they are all so bad maybe stranded? Im not even sure.
