Honestly, it is not as unrealistic as you think. The plane was in vertical climb and stalled when the pilot ejected, the velocity was close to zero so it is like jumping off of a helicopter. The F35 is designed to fall flat for controlled flatspins so it would go flat mometarily after such a maneuverer. Would this ever happen in IRL? No. Is it theoretically possible? Yes! and that's what games are for. To push things to the extremes, and see what is possible with physics. I'm hyped of this one.

Actually, the F-35 would do nothing to beat the Su-57. Over 1000 F-35s built and counting, versus only about two dozen Felons active all made with shoddy craftsmanship

Why not put it into VTOL, unbuckle, stand in the seat, shoot, and THEN buckle back in and fly off? Why jump out? I know it's a reference to a common tactic players actually use, but standing up in the seat to shoot would make far more sense.

@@COUNTERCOM Throttle's on the left side and it looks like a fat piece of black Play-Doh with a knob poking out the top, full of switches, buttons and hats everywhere. Edit: Also just like in the F-16 an F-22 before it, the F-35's stick barely moves, since it's force actuated. It only moves a bit because back when they were testing the Viper pilots felt that a completely stiff stick just didn't feel right. tl;dr: This guy just straight-ass ripped the stick off the cockpit.
