This is the best Battlefield, perhaps one of the best fps games, of all time. The multiplayer experience at its height is unparalleled imo

It's funny, now that it's 2019, Battlefield 3 is getting the respect it deserved back in 2011. Back then everyone was shitting on it and talking about how Bad Company 2 was supposedly the better game. And yes, I agree, BF3 is the best game in the series.

I've had Helicopters fly overhead on a regular basis where I use to live. They would fly pretty low sometimes, and that shit shook all my windows violently lol. Few times I thought they were gonna break.

Used to live in North Africa, the feel is EXACTLY the same. Especially at night. Just playing this game makes allllll the smells come back :D

It's mostly good but some stuff is still off. The Osprey going overhead has a nice "helicopter going overhead" sound but as soon as it passes the sound fades away and the sound that remains is pretty subpar and doesn't really reflects that there's a two engine aircraft hovering very close to you. It doesn't have to be deafenening as it would be irl, but that really doesn't do justice. This is actually a gripe i have with games sound design, lots of times on games you can only hear what is going on really close to you. I was playing the Modern Warfare remaster but i could not keep going because the combat just sounds so weak. On the first mission where you play with the Marine on the invasion, some jets fly like 10 meters above you sometimes and you almost can't hear them. It's almost the same problem here.

@@PSPbrtag i really haven't had that problem yet with most games yet, might be your audio. tho i could relate with a lot of games not having the nessecary amount of bass for a M E G A N U T.

They say this is underrated because there's no different characters you can play and only 4 specific characters you can only play. You can only play on not-so-many places. Even if it's 12 missions, there's not much.
