A truly weird game which I sometimes love and sometimes hate, and a game that I just can't help supporting in hopes that DICE turns it into a masterpiece by listening to the community, squashing bugs, and changing the damm UI. There is SO much potential in a WW2 BF game...

Dude everyone is leaving comments thinking the title is about the game and not the map....

One thing that is weird and affects my gameplay is the uniforms of the soldiers. In this game I will often run past soldiers thinking that they are allies because they both wear the same grey suit or customization etc, when they are enemies. In BF1, the uniforms had a distinct difference (Ottomans wore white and bright uniforms with the flag etched on it, British and Americans wore Brown uniforms and tan helmets, Germans and Austro Hungarians wore gray uniforms with metal helmets, French wore blue uniforms,etc) In this game there are people on the allied side that wear gray uniforms. I'm pretty sure that's not historically accurate and it hurts gameplay. I don't pay attention to cosmetics, so if uniforms can be customized that really affects gameplay. EDIT: Didn't know it was historically accurate, but I still would like contrast between uniforms because it still affects gameplay.

A decent game with typical Battlefield launch issues. My main gripe is it just feels kind of hollow and soulless. Not immersed in the period like I was with BF1 & WWI - even though it wasn't an accurate representation its trade offs were fun for gameplay whilst keeping the feeling right. I don't feel a reason to play with BFV, it's just mediocre unlocks/customisation and annoying assignments. I'm sure it'll come good in a year or so. It just doesn't feel like a WW2 game, and it isn't just because its missing your standard WW2 maps/factions - there's something else missing.

I’m really enjoying BF 5. Yeah, there’s some bugs they need to fix but gameplay and graphics are amazing.

As much as the fact that this game needs a lot of love, it truly has a ton of potential to turn into a masterpiece. With that being said I am beyond getting sick of games being released partially with the intentions of DLC to complete them. This game should have been launched with way more content, WW 2 offers the most content to choose from among all the wars and yet here we are, fighting the war as if the British and the Nazis were the only countries in this major world conflict.

I just bought the game in the sales and I'm dying so much? I found battlefield 1 a lot easier but maybe that's just me. Not enjoying it as much as I thought

I could play BF4 for hours and hours, but I get bored after about an hour playing bfv. it's got allot of balences issues, but otherwise it's pretty solid.

100% agree. Only thing I don't like about it is that it just *doesn't* feel like WW2 to me.

Parts of BF5 are objectively worse than past Battlefield games. And I don't know how they can do that.

I personally think that some stuff needs to improve with grand operations and some other things but other than that it’s a good game

The marketing ruined this game so much I honestly think this game is fun although it’s objectively the most incomplete battlefield on release yet honestly if you can get it for half price which is what I did a week or two after launch then it’s worth it but don’t get it for full price 60$ it’s fun and genuinely good however again it’s the most incomplete battlefield yet I just hope dice sticks to this game and keeps updating it with new maps game modes weapons gadgets cosmetics etc yes it an unfinished game it’s the most un finished and empty battlefield to date but there is still some fun to be had if you are a major bf fan I believe there is a 50% off sale i think it’s kind of worth it

I had really high hopes for the battlefield series back in the bf3 days. I was gravely disappointed.

Jack, any thoughts on the sudden spike in Hackers? I've recorded 3 in the last 2 days that, with out a doubt, aim bot. Uploaded spectator footage of one and have the other 2 uploading at the moment. I've played over 150 hours so far and had only encountered 1 before the last 3 days.

I'm still getting shot through walls without it showing the puncture icon. It still frustrates me. And the Sten.

Video quality dips a lot even in 1080p, then sometimes just becomes really sharp again. It's pretty random but makes it a little hard to watch when the text in the video goes from sharp to blurry every so often...

The AA tank isn't overpowered, it's just a worthy opponent of the Godsault.

I dont know removing spotting was stupid and I feel like it's more of an infantry simulator even on Panzerstorm not that much tanks...

I like how you can shoot sitting down and also I love how the guns are good with out being op.Medic class and assault are badass in this game!

Anyone else want vehicle only game modes? I really want air superiority, a tank only game mode. I think it would be cool if we got Naval warfare like battleships, destroyers, submarines and planes in a grand operation or for conquest, or just for a naval warfare game mode

Panzerstorm has quickly become one of my favorite maps, as if you stick to the d flag with something like the gewehr 15 or the carbine, it can be very fun, with constant actin and lots of chances to kill tanks

Saw you do 7 damage to someone with the G1-5. Not sure a game should take 13 bullets to drain a gerry at any distance, hitbox location or caliber bullet. Thats worse than the csgo glock

People seem to have forgetten about Battlefield 4s launch. It took them a long as time to fix things, but they did. People need to give DICE a chance, things take time.

Can't really stand this game... I love BF1 so much, and this is a downgrade compared to BF1 imo. Bf5 feels like a typical early access steam crap most of the time.

Quick question which is more effective against tanks: piat or anti tank warhead thing? (I forgot the name lol)

I have a lot of fun playing it, but also have a lot of moments that are annoying because of bugs/poor design. -Not being able to climb small mounds, instead just sliding down them repeatedly -The pointlessness of Grand operations and how little sense they make -TTD with being killed in one frame or even around corners (I have 40 ping or less 90% of the time so I doubt it's that) -Invisible forces pushing you while prone -Bipod system -Not loading into a game we just found as a squad since there isn't enough slots in the server -The hitbox of fire is so fucked There's probably a few more that I can't remember but I'll edit the comment if I do. Other than these things, when the game is somewhat balanced, I definitely do enjoy the game, just wish there were more maps.

Jack do you think you could ever consider doing walkthroughs of the Metro Franchise(2033 Redux, Last Light, or the upcoming Exodus)?

I love BFV but have to say that there is soooo much work to do... Main ones being, Player Visibility, Awful Netcode, Map Balance, Server Issues(Joining) and double loading screen, Spotting and 3d Spotting, Stupid and super annoying animations... 2 years DICE...You had only one job BFV team

It's in a worse state than BF4. Wait 6-9 months and come back. The input latency problem makes it currently unplayable. I expect BattleNonSense will shine light on this issue.

There is an Easter egg in Hamada. It's basically a pair of headphones on a rock with Morse code written on it. It basically commends the players that completed the Masterman program from BF1. Side note- all I want from BFV is another phantom program lol.
