My most recent visit was in October 2022, I hadn't been for some considerable time prior to that. The Class 116/122 DMU combo was working trains that day and it was a very enjoyable visit, very friendly staff too. I think I know the answer but it would be interesting to know if there is any scope to extend the line at all. The access to the car park at Shackerstone is on part of the old track bed.
