Great video ! loved the MGS refrences and Melee/Pistol use , but two things, Obscure MGS lore wise the Boss (naked snakes mentor from MGS3) invented CQC if im not mistaken. she and the rest of the cobra unit served in WW2, kojima even wanted to make a WW2 game where you play the boss. So Technicly Profesor Mem cinematic universe wise it should not be a time paradox lol second thing : Useless but sligtly related but not realy fun fact : in BFV there was ment to be a forth type of melee weapon. the Garrote wire , it's still in the game and can be spawned in by cheaters but it lacks it's animations so it just uses knife animations, tho they don't fit because the garrot wire has a real long "Execution animations" so the knife animations esentialy play in slowmotion. it's also in the reveal trailer if im not mistaken. would have been cool to go Full Agent 47 on some clueless Sniper with the garrote wire

I have no idea why they made 2042's melee system _so much_ worse. You can only equip one takedown, it's purely cosmetic, it only works from directly behind, and it's _in third person?_ What were they thinking?

Did you know that battlefield V fucked up the implementation of blunt melee weapons? Somehow, from battlefield 1 to V the blunt melee weapons had their damage and range stat changed from their normal damage and range to knife damage and range. Resulting in them being a straight downgrade because in comparison to knives, they have all of the downsides of the knives with additional downgrades in the other two melee stats, swing speed and assassination angles, the two things the knives had going for them. Fuck EA for shutting down development of bfV because with a little more time, shit like this would have been caught and rectified.
