One of the most important things the Scholars or Imams should talk about is the issue of so many Muslim girls and boys are single, because they are wasting their lives waiting for the king and queen, doctor and engineer to come to their life. They are distracted and caught up in to the illusion of money and fame, not character of the person. This is the root of the sin that should be talked about openly.

Dear brother it is like this , don't go near adultry and don't masturbate.

I know it's weird but i gotta post it here.It's my tenth year addicted to p*** and mast***** .It's a quiet sickness which destroys you from inside without people even noticing it. i have tried alot of time to quit it , just was able to stay away for a max of 1 month and then returned to this shit. I used to be a very smart guy in school , was always first position and graduated as a general first position from high school , though i had this addiction during school time but it wasn't that severe. Day by day it increased. i got into uni by winning a scholarship in a university far from my country . My early years of uni wasn't too bad . But i now come to a point that can't control it ,sometimes i do it 5 times a day . I used to enjoy life and see the beauty in small things. Was a very productive guy with a very good memory and handsome and i mean it . Now those days are gone , i have black shadows near my eyes , look like having a 40 year old guys skin ,feel like shit i hate myself im always depressed. I wish I'm not alive anymore I wanted to commit suicide but i can't because of my mom , purely bcz im her only son. And i know my death will destroy her and she won't be able to tolerate it .No one even my family dont know about it. I'm in my 3rd year of university i used to love my field in my secondary years and now i hate it af . I didn't learn shit yet. I don't know if it's because of this shit or it's not the right field for me . I try to study it but can't focus and learn it .last semester my gpa was 0.56. Think about it from being a first position to getting Nearly dropped from uni. I'm always praying to allah that my outcome be finished good inshallah. It's my only wish from this world .and to be able to serve my mom. I myself is responsible for this , not anyone . I become hopeless from myself , i can't fight anymore, my only hope is Allah (swt) , Though i know Allah says in Quran, i won't change the destiny of a nation if they don't change what's inside them . But i can't do it , i repented and i returned, i repented and ... Same story . I feel purposeless , empty i hate when i see people smiling and enjoying life i hate the world ... I feel like everthing is over for me I'm afraid of marriage because i think i lost the ability a man has that can satisfy her wife and create a peaceful and healthy relationship. I feel like i already betrayed that girl which was supposed to be my wife .i don't deserve her and i can't destroy her life too. I became a very timid guy can't even talk to a girl. And from otherside i think after my graduation inshallah since i dont want to marry i will be forced by my family cz im from a traditional society. So with that being predicted i might just disappear rather than destroying someone else's s life too. though i will destroy my father and my mom's dignity and hope . And in the meantime i think like i can't escape from the fact that every human has natural sexual desire which should be satisfied one way or the other. And i can't escape it my whole life. I'm lost .I even cant think about something creative i feel like my improvement just stopled i feel like I'm the guy with my early ages information. I'm sorry if i disturbed you guys . But i couldn't share with anyone and thought it would be good if i share here . Please brothers pray for me and everyone who is going through it . And please be very careful about your sons/daughters , don't give them telephones in early ages , if possible sometimes follow them where they go whom they are hanging out with . Mine was started in my 7th grade of school from a simple nokia phone. And going to netcafe . I was so dump ass not knowing what i was doing . Please have a very friendly relationship with your sons/daughters that they can share their thoughts process /difficulties with any worry specially when they are 15 and 9 years old . It's your responsibility to raise their awareness about sexual things and the right way to deal with. Unfortunately in most muslim families we just try to kinda act like it doesn't exist and we repress the urges. And nothing is thought to children and once children get abit older they get lost , though some are smart and can escape the trap . Anyway may God bless us all and helps us to leave it and those who are not addicted may they stay safe from it. I will be happy if you share your thoughts with me on what should i do ? can i marry or i should just ignore it ? Any solution u have tried that was successful? Jazakullah khaira

Glory is to Allah. Praise is to Allah. There is none worth of worship but Allah. Allah is the Most Great. There is no might and no power except by Allah's leave, the Exalted, the Mighty. My Lord, forgive me. (Whoever says this will be forgiven, and if he supplicates Allah, his prayer will be answered; if he performs ablution and prays, his prayer will be accepted.) ‎2- اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You. You created me and I am your slave. I keep Your covenant, and my pledge to You so far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I admit to Your blessings upon me, and I admit to my misdeeds. Forgive me, for there is none who may forgive sins but You.(Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning and dies during that day shall enter Paradise.) ‎3- اللَّهُمَّ عَافِـني فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِـنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْر، وَالفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، لَا إلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ O Allah, make me healthy in my body. O Allah, preserve for me my hearing. O Allah, preserve for me my sight. There is none worthy of worship but You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is none worthy of worship but You. (Three times) ‎4- حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, He is Lord of the Majestic Throne. (Seven times)(Allah will grant whoever recites this Seven times in the morning or evening whatever he desires from this world or the next.) ‎5- اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي، وَدُنْيَايَ، وَأَهْلِي، وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِيَ O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in this world and the next. O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in my religion, in my worldly affairs, in my family and in my wealth. O Allah, conceal my secrets and preserve me from anguish. O Allah, guard me from what is in front of me and behind me, from my left, and from my right, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your Greatness from being struck down from beneath me. ‎6- اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّماوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءاً أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the evident , Maker of the heavens and the earth, Lord of everything and its Possessor, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his helpers. (I seek refuge in You) from bringing evil upon my soul and from harming any Muslim. ‎7- رَضِيتُ باللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَى اللَّهُ عَلِيهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيَّاً I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet. (Three times)(Allah has promised that anyone who says every morning or evening will be pleased on the Day of Resurrection.) ‎8- يَاحَيُّ، يَا قَيُّومُ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ O Ever Living One, O Eternal One, by Your mercy I call on You to set right all my affairs. Do not place me in charge of my soul even for the blinking of an eye. ‎9- سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him. (100 times)(Whoever recites this one hundred times in the morning and in the evening will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone having done better than this except for someone who had recited it more.) ‎10- لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ None has the right to be worshiped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things. (10 times or once if tired.) ‎11- لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ None has the right to be worshiped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. (100 times in in the morning.)(Whoever recites this hundred times in the morning, Allah swt will reward him of freeing ten slaves, Allah will write one hundred Hasanat and and forgive him one hundred misdeeds and be protected from Satan until evening.) ‎12- سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him, by the multitude of His creation, by His Pleasure, by the weight of His Throne, and by the extent of His Words. (Three times in the morning.) ‎13- اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلَّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ Oh Allah, we ask you for peace and blessings upon our prophet Muhammad. (Ten times)(The Prophet saw said: "Who recites blessings upon me 10 times in the morning and 10 times in the evening will obtain my intercession on the Day of Resurrection".) ‎14- اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْـدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِـكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِـكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الغَيْبِ عِنْـدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ القُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي وذَهَابَ هَمِّي O Allah, I am Your slave and the son of Your male slave and the son of your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand (i.e. You have control over me). Your Judgment upon me is assured and Your Decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught any one of Your creation or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness and the reliever of my distress.

It s getting more and more difficult to be a true believer of God with all the sex every where. I have struggled all my life to keep this filfth out of my life. I prayed but this desire of watching porn often comes. So I stopped praying but it was getting worse. So, I have to go back to pray and GOD will give me the strenght to resist.

How about the people who just THINK about sex? I'm a divorced woman and i stay away from men and definitly don't watch filth. But sex is a need and sometimes i think about it and can't focus on anything else. Especially when i'm ovulating. I'm starting to feel ashamed about it and guilty allthough im not actually sinning. Good principles in this video. As an atheist, I let myself be inspired from all the wisdom that I find in every religion, and the description of Satan getting to you bit by bit is quite accurate and should invite us to reflect deeply in the times we live in. The real issue that I have with religions in general, is that they are imposed upon human beings when they are very young. Abiding by religious principles should be a choice which comes from awareness, not from education and society.
