We are beyond excited, to present to you "Battles of the Fords of Isen - A Lord of the Rings Fan Film".
Over 4 Years over 150 people worked for free on this Project to create a Tolkien fan film from fans, for fans.
Please support us by liking, commenting and subscribing. It would mean the world to us!

‘*especially* when big producers or companies…do not get involved.’ Too often lately we’ve seen Hollywood deface culturally iconic IPs like Middle Earth, motivated by their greed or agenda. Films like this show a love for Tolkien’s source material that Hollywood cannot fake.

Saw your film at the swiss youth filmfestival yesterday and I'm so glad it was in the programm. The commitment and heart you put into it shines through and it was so unexpected and refreshing inbetween the other projects. the best 25 minutes of the entire screening. Great job!!

First good things. Location scouting was perfect, great place to shoot. Music - well done, atmosphere of the original trilogy but somehow different, great piece. Costumes - you did what you could with your budget, looks Cool. You can see heart and love put in the work, but technicalities are pushing me away. Life sentence for DOP (and editor). Most of shots are shot like complete amateur. Golden ratio doesnt exist, not even mentioning Fibonacci, weird choices, like many shots are crooked, same scene with different light and i think it was shot in 16x9 ratio, coz i cant belive how many shots just cut half of forhead to show Little neck, it looks like it has been edited to cinemascope. Weird distortions in evening/night scenes, doesnt add on to atmosphere, more look like mistakes. Drone shots and super wide shots are the only that are good. And audio. I know sometimes you are on set, and mic guys won't hear background noise that destroys vocals, but not throughout whole movie. Voiceover was tool to Save it, but person directing actors in studio, didnt directed them well enough. Its emotionless and not good fit to video we see. Im holding fingers for you to become better and do more stuff, im sure you'll improve.

This is a masterpiece of fan activity on a par with "Half a Century of poetry Later" in the Witcher universe. Music, scenic views, costumes, how the Lord of the Rings feels in all this. We are waiting for Russian and Ukrainian subtitles so that my countrymen can fully enjoy this miracle❤❤❤

It was a great film, I just didn't understand the ending. He literally got stabbed from front to back, so I assumed he died. Then people (of which 1 really looked like Éomer, so if you wanted to represent him, you did a great job) came to save him, and he is suddenly alive. Maybe you could've made that ending a bit clearer, but the rest of the fim was really nice. For a fan film you did a great job at the Orcs, and the fighting also wasn't that bad. Thanks for this!

Super schön gemacht!! Simple Geschichte, die einem dann doch bis zum Ende so gefesselt hat!!! Wie habt ihr es geschafft, dass man (jedenfalls ich) nie etwas "modernes" auf den Landschaftsaufnahmen gesehen hat? Super abgestimmt, oder Post-Production?
