I have over 2k hours in Tarkov, I bought the standard edition on day 1, day 2 I bought EOD. I have loved Tarkov and played it for years, this "unheard" edition is the first time ive ever considered not coming back to Tarkov..Its a slap in the face to all those who play the game, and its 100% taking a shit on those of us who bought EOD.

"EoD will feature all expansion packs in the future." Now what they've basically done is release a de facto single player expansion pack, but labelled it as a new "edition" instead, thus screwing over everyone who backed them with the "deluxe edition" for years. I don't care about the pockets or any of the other stuff, it's the fact they have expanded the game and insisted it isn't an expansion, just so they don't have to give it to their most loyal backers. Really gross and sleazy.

On the Tarkov website News id#9 (2015-12-30) - "Q: Are we going to be able to buy all the packs with bonuses after the game release? A: No, after release there will be other packs, with lesser bonuses." We were promised EOD would always have the best bonuses.

It's so funny they thought it would be a good upgrade, or that they had the balls to give sass, when an apology could have saved it - This will go down in history as the day a Game Company commits financial seppuku. Worse yet, if co-op is decided to be DLC, it would be breach of contract and years old chargebacks would genuinely become an option.

They pretend they do not understand what "downloadable content" is. Sure, they have to run single-player on their own servers to prevent 95% of piracy. To pay for this they should have sold SP separately for $20 - 30, having apologised and explained to EOD owners that this is the only feasible way to have SP developed and running. The rest of the content is content, DLC is DLC. Thus, must be included into EOD. For many customers, the main selling point for an expensive $150 EOD version back in 2016 - 2020 was that it includes all future content (downloadable one). It was a lot of money in 2016 to take from life and family and invest in the future. This is like construction workers charging you extreme amount for a bathroom renovation and you agree to make a deal because they include 10-year warranty. In 5 years they ask for extra unheard money because the warranty "does not cover electric wiring because this is a bathroom and not an electric power-station" and they did not mean it was included.

People have extractes the Kukri model from EFT and it has a very different topology from the Unity store asset - It is a real life Kukri you cam buy, so the fact that other models exist isnt shocking.

I'm a casual player in Tarkov who has bought the EOD version of the game 3 or 4 years ago. I have been looking forward to a PvE version of the game for a long time. Sometimes when I get off work I would like to fight bots instead of players that are much better than me or are cheating. When I saw PvE I was very excited until.... Having to pay $100 to have that privilege, pissed me off!

Pve co-op mode is a great addition. Should've already been part of it like so many other games. There are more casuals out there than pvp sweats. I've said before I'd not be opposed to paying for pve server time. But as an EOD owner I feel a bit burned that I'd have to buy the game all over again after being led to believe otherwise. I have many friends who own eft but stopped playing it who all say they'd get back into it if there was a co-op playthrough mode. My frustration is they'll see this price and say no.

Clearly BSG got bought out by "The Gray Zone" and are doing EVERYTHING possible to push people away so they play that game instead.

I bought EOD in Feb 2018, relatively early for games hype. It's been dead to me for at least a year. It used to be my favorite game, now it's not even installed on my pc. I wish I could get my thousands of hours back.

Even Helldivers has roasted Tarkov on social media. That's how you know its bad.

For me the closest comparison is CDPR, with Cyberpunk 2077. They had a decade+ of legendary amounts of goodwill, trust, a good reputation. They were delaying the game over and over to make sure it would be the best it could be at launch. And when it launched, it took less than two weeks for it all to vaporise. BSG makes an incredibly ambitious, unique game, with gun modding the likes of which we still haven't seen head nor tail of in other games, with a game that just pulls you in with the slick animations and a satisfying gameplay loop, if slightly fundamentally flawed, and boom Unheard edition kills everything. 2016 December alpha, til the past 48 hours, and now it's all gone. Remember when Tarkov had a measly 3000 active players? I guess all the success went to their heads.

Maybe they makle a 180 degree turn, but well it also could be the end of BSG because who will buy again? They show us the middlefinger and all promises are now with this new Edition are forgotten? I have my doubts for the future cashflow - BSG is running out of money and will be closed soon, my bet.

I was on the hype trian of EfT , i bought EoD when it came out. I quickly found out the multiplayer only stuff was not for me. I paid 150 for a game i played 3 times and stopped. I won't shell out an9ther 100 for the pve i wanted to begin with.
