Join me as I tackle the challenge of image stabilization drift while capturing the serene beauty of a lone tree in the evening light at Rannerdale, nestled in the English Lake District. Despite a mishap with my exhaust pipe, I persevered to bring you this breathtaking footage. Stick around till the end to unwind with me over an alfresco cup of tea in the twilight.

Good one Steve 😂 I was just to knackered to drive home and I thought I'd leave the drive until later once the tourist traffic had died down. Also the video was a bit short, so I padded it out. I'm glad you found 'Yourself'. Next video 'How to centre yourself in the Univers' 🤯

It's really a shame that you lost the light on that first scene, that was absolutely picture perfect. Definitely a place to return to* but you did well with the image anyway! I'm not sure what those Chinese tourists were thinking, but who doesn't sit by the side of the road, out in the middle of nowhere, drinking tea? Nothing unusual about that. Lovely image at 9:00, love the gate and rock wall in the foreground. Watching this reminds me, I need to get some kind of portable burner and kettle for these cold mornings out here. Thanks Paul. I'm always to late for those shots and when I arrive early they don't appear. Looking forward to your next video. Up to your neck in snow yet. Gas is no good for coldest days I have an alcohol burner for those times and if all else fails you can always drink it 😂 There's going to be alot more car loafing going on imy videos from now on 🤔

Thought you would have flagged down Mr Luchini at 7.47 and have a 99 with your brew! On a more serious note I've found the image stabilisation and tripods don't always get on together.

I did think an ice-cream would have been nice a Blackcurrant Lakes Ice Cream or a Sollero would be nice. I only would which the IS wouldn't driff around so much when I'm trying compose.

Actually I think I maybe in the same place as yourself. I often go out with my brother photographing, I like your self in this video I like to take my time assess the area & wait !!!!! My brother is not like me, he is running around taking images all over the place. I do have a chair but alas no kettle etc, just a bottle of water...............
