av og til leser du værmeldingen, du tror du har kontroll. men blir alikevell overrasket. været tar seg kraftig opp rett etter takeoff. og Tore for seg en overaskelse i paraglideren. senere i filmen får jeg utnyttet sjeldent godt bygeløft. flott dag. flott eventyr.

Amazing place! That forest on the hike down is straight out of a fairy tale. Even if I hiked up there and couldn't fly with the weather, just bring there would be incredible.

Thank you 😊 It is. An I often hike, even if it's a very small chance of flyving. As you say it's a beautiful place 🤩

Thanks. We did read the forecast and was super surprised by the strong wind. Memo : if someone ask to push you of the edge, it might just be too strong 😆

Hii Joar in mountains the weather can change always very fast and sometimes unpredictable...for example my last 2 flights in serra do larouco- north of Portugal, there is 3 official takeoffs : south and west (portuguese side ) and north (spanish side ) all on the same mountain...the forecast that day was weak north winds ,we went small goup with the local club van to straigh to north takeoff(spanish side ) and was south wind so we went directly to south takeoff surprise,surprise= was north wind ! so we check the west take-off close by to south takeoff and we made the first flight of the day ...after landing we decide go back to north takeoff this time =No wind at all ..so we back to west takeoff and made the second flight ... I totally agree with your conclusions. Also, it's good to remember when we fly that, after all, the forecast is not 100% Sometimes, when you see big clouds building, it's easy to think. There was no overdevelopmement on the forecast:p
