What if this is like the dark Knight rises where Bruce Wayne final mission against bane and just leaves with Catwoman.

What would be easier to explain: There was a previous crisis on infinite earths in 2015 where another monitor took Bruce instead of Oliver. The Flash season 1 finale was only one singularity created by this old crisis (other earths may have had it too, Earth 2 did!). Flash helped to stop the singularity but never knew what it truly was. All of us thought that singularity was created by the season 1 Flash travelling in time or the particle accelerator wormhole from the finale. The singularity was the first redo of the Arrowverse, as the timeline when Barry became the Flash in 2020 was no more. Bruce and perhaps Superman (Earth 1 has kryptonite) and Wonder Woman (there is a Themyscira in Earth 1) helped as well but died or they were erased in the 2015 crisis too. It would be just like Oliver vanished in the 2019 crisis, right? This would explain why nobody mentions Bruce until now, or how Batman is an "urban legend." Where is Bruce today then? He became a Spectre? Since there are many according to Jim Corrigan (maybe Batman trained him). In summary: The singularity from 2015 was the beginning of the Arrowverse as we knew before 2019 Crisis. (the one where we had Earth 2 with Zoom, Earth 3 with Garrick, etc). IF they ever introduce Bruce/Batman, it would be awesome to know he was the first hero to reset the universe before Arrow/Flash ever did. Nobody knew, not even the audience lol which was the point. This did not stop the 2019 Crisis but at least it gave us the heroes we needed to prevent the end of the multiverse (dude, this could go deeper if Bruce and his monitor also knew of the 2019 Crisis holy mother and this the plan all along...).

We heard about robin in the second episode of Batwoman. It was some one off line from the radio host woman iirc. Personally my theory is that Robin died, and this universe's version of Bruce either gave up, or is looking for a second lazerus pit. Cause we know Oracle exists, so it wouldn't be odd for the killing joke to have happened.

What about when Talia tells Oliver that she ran in with an old friend from Gotham. This is clearly a reference to Batman and she said this in Slabside 2017, 2 years after he disappeared, so maybe when he heard of the end of the League, and he went to find Talia, Nyssa, and Malcolm and found the island destroyed. Maybe he then fought Talia and sent her to Slabside and then went with Nyssa, Thea, and Roy to destroy the Lazarus Pits. Additionally, a continuity problem, is that when a picture of Oliver in costume is leaked and he has a mayoral speech and says "Has Bruce Wayne left Gotham recently? No!" This was in 2017 I think and Bruce, as a vigilante, would probably know where Bruce or Batman are. This leads me to beleive that not only is Batman alive and fighting villains, but is in Gotham, maybe undercover. I think he is disguised as Matches Malone. This was a story where Bruce pretended to be a thug or crime boss or something to get into a villains inner circle and discover his plan. This is the most likely situation imo

Theory: Todd was killed so he broke his no killing rule a few times. He and Superman fought and Superman won because Batman was fighting with emotion and not his skill. After the fight Clark told Bruce to leave Gotham and find himself then come back and either continue to fight crime or retire.

Batman when he returns: "No, Kate, you are Gotham's true Dark Knight and the hero it needs, you beat me at full power, my previous back injury was 100% restored and improved by Lazarus pit, and you beat me, beat a improved version of me."

Actually Robin and Nightwing have been confirmed to exist on Earth 1. Robin was mentioned in a Batwoman episode. Also there is a book about the arrowverse called Oliver Queen’s Dossier and it name drops Nightwing

Alternatively, Batwoman could largely take place in the aftermath of The Dark Knight Rises. Bruce is hanging out in Italian cafes with Catwoman, making Alfred cry. Otherwise he's hanging out on DCU lecturing the Titans about teamwork, family, drinking milk and doing the Batusi.

If he dissapeared three years ago, from the last crossover, it would make it 2016. This was when we started the Zoom storyline. It is possible that Bruce is gone because he is actually no longer on this earth. Zoom may have saw him as a threat and pit him somewhere else. It makes some sense and explains why Nruce bbn is gone as well as Batman.

Good Thing Kate/Batwoman discovered the 2nd Batcave underneath Wayne Enterprises. she has to figure out later that the main Batcave is closer to Bruce's home. your right he might be recuperating from Bane's fight there. Id say that for my head canon version would be Bruce got his back broken by Bane and left to heal it. Or something traumatic like the death of Jason Todd led him to almost beat the Joker to death, which made him give up his mantle

My 2 theories are that one, he was kidnapped by Thalia or given the Time line I'm now thinking he was taken by the monitor... Which would also explain why everyone is locked up. Arrow showing us Thalia and Bronze Tiger, while Batwoman has shown us joker and Riddler being locked away. Bane helmet being hung up would seem like Batman tried to clean up Gotham before taking off.

My theory, before the start of Batwoman, either the Joker killed Jason Todd and Batman exiled himself linking that to Batwoman's origin when kate's sister and mother were lost. The Bane / Dark Knight Rises story could work also. Either one.

I feel like it's more likely for a robin to show up in Batwoman. Personally, I think they should throw Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown. You can explain them not helping with anything by saying that they quit the superhero lives and went to college or something in Coast City. One of my theories is, what if what happened at the end of the flash season one and that wormhole opening up, what if that found its way to spread to different areas of earth, and the Bruce Wayne Barry talks to in the next episode is the Bruce from earth one.

I think Batman will first appear in Crisis On Infinite Earths then he stays with Kate in Gotham to take down the bad guys. That would be cool. I love the first 2 Episodes of Batwoman! Both great!

great theory. I'm really interested to see where the show goes after the recent news of Ruby Rose leaving. I was really starting to like the show - it was always _just enough_ of content in the episodes, if that makes sense.. (like, even a few minutes longer; I'd lose interest). Honestly, for the show to survive a full main character recast after season 1 being centered around her and her family; they're going to need either multiple crossovers OR they need Bruce Wayne to make an appearance. If Titans can have him, why can't Batwoman?

i think we will find out that happen to bruce/batman a lot sooner then we think. i am basing this on that we were lead over season one of batwoman we would learn if batwoman and the evil alice were related. in the first episode we see that kate/batwoman already thinks that, but then it jumped to alice looking at an old photo of two young girls and talking to one like it is her sister kate. so based on how fast this came out i think before episode 8 or whatever is the halfway point of the season we will learn what and where bruce/batman is and what happened.

The theory I accept is that he was doing fine against his rogues until bane came and broke his back. He is currently healing an not able to handle people like bad guys.

What if after Ra's Al Ghul's death he heard that League of Assassins wanted to avenge Ra's and destroy Star City, killing the Arrow and everyone who ever got in their way? He left Gotham to take Ra's Al Ghul's place and prevent the League of Assassins' takeover. In the comics Ra's Al Ghul always wanted Bruce as his successor. It would explain why he left for so long and has not been able to return to Gotham! Maybe one of the conditions was that Bruce can't return to Gotham and/or have contact with the outside world. P.S: I don't really remember much from Arrow Season 3 so I don't truly know if this *"theory"* is valid or not.

Oliver will be sent by the monitor to rescue Bruce wherever he's been held captive for the last 3 years. Talia might even be holding him like the Bad Blood storyline, which would make sense since, you know, Batwoman. Or Bane did it. Either way he didn't mean to disappear.

I think its pretty obvious that Bruce failed one too many times after loosing Alice and only managing to save Kate, using every tool and resource at his disposal, he either gave up or failed to find her (which is also hard to believe) but either way, he likely left Gotham to visit places like Nanda-Parbat, possibly trying to both hone his skills further and meditate on accepting those failures. In the comics, he's been known to go on the occasional find himself journey, across continents, through moutnain ranges, only to realize Gothan needs Batman and that who he truly is. However, one last theory is the most obvious, the writers set up a mystery but, when the show's rating and overall audience reaction, it was likely just forgotten altogether. Crisis changed everything so maybe Bruce is still out there for any number of reasons.

What if it's like Knight fall protocol in Arkham Knight but its identity was never revealed he was just dying from the joker toxin so he left and went to the league of assassins to use their lausris pit in exchange to help them for 3 years or something like that

Second theory And this universe maybe Jason and just maybe Bruce is traumatized in this universe so he has a different approach than in the comics

My theory is that just before the death of Ra’s A Ghaul, Batman had clashed with Bane and got his back destroyed, he decided to heal his injuries and rebuild his strength by training with The League Of Assassins (just like Batman Begins). The thing is by the time Bruce gets to the League Of Assassins on the other side of the world, they have been disbanded because of Ra’s’ death. So Bruce is now stuck on the other side of the world, extremely crippled, and ex-members of League are looking to him and possibly forcing him to reform it.

What if we get more specific🗝️clues from Alice in the season finale that reveals more to where 🦇Batman actually is and Kate starts looking🔦 for him in the end of season1 and keeps looking for him in season2 and finds him.

If CW ever brings in Batman, then have him show up in like batwoman, then announce his own series, and it’s coming out next year

Legends helping Bat Man get home could be a brilliant way to get people to watch Legends of Tomorrow. If they have Legends come on during the second half of our shows seasons, they could tie it in perfect enough for Bat Man to come on Bat Woman season 3 or 2. Also Sara's ties to the League of Assassins can help easily to tie in Bat Man some how.

In the 90s DC had a lot of their writers make their stories and characters more edgy and "90s extreme" to due to that being the trend at the time. the batman writers decided to make knightfall batman be as 90s extreme as possible in hopes that people wouldn't like it and demand a return to normal batman. The writers also considered simply getting rid of the bat gimmick and having him change his name to "the caped crusader". It should also be noted that batman being gone is very similar to how this version of batwoman was introduced into the comics. It was part of storyline where batman, superman and wonder had disappeared and other new heroes took their spot whilst they were gone. Also since batman seems to have been around since at least the early 2000s (probably since the 90s) i'm sure hes trained some robins and batgirls. I'm pretty sure that in an episode of constantine theres a kid cosplaying as robin in the background during a Halloween episode but i could be miss remembering

Could also be that one storyline in the comics where i think he fights Joker to the death or someone and he ends up losing his memories and forgets everything like his training and him being Batman but slowly remembers cause I think it was me might of forgot his training but his body still remembers and his reflexes are still there and that helps him remember I guess idk been awhile since I saw that storyline I could be miss remembering it all goes but i know he does forget almost everything at some point

I think what happened was batman was on a investigation in gotham and in the end it backfired and caught him without him realizing and now he is in some villains cell trying to be broken or brainwashed. Possibly he could be in a off branch member of the leauge of shadows or possibly court of owls
